DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FACE SERUM AND MOISTURIZER:
Due to their large molecules, MOISTURIZERS can only penetrate the first layer of the skin, allowing them to hydrate and seal in moisture. A face serum is able to penetrate into all three layers of the skin because it is made of smaller molecules. The serums ability to go deeper into the skin is what allows it to help combat many common beauty complaints.
FACE SERUMS are best applied to a clean, slightly damp face. If a toner is being used, the serum should be applied after the toner. It is often recommended to apply the face serum before bed, as the skin will absorb it better overnight, although each serum will have its own application instructions.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH ORIFLAME SWEDISH SPA SEA ALGAE BEAUTY TREATMENT SERUM:
This serum comes along with a treatment package, which consists of algae scrub and algae mask, but I opted only for the serum. This algae serum is extremely hydrating and satiated my skin’s dryness during the dry winter months. In fact, instead of using it weekly, I used it daily and noted remarkable improvement in skin texture and the way the skin reacted to extreme moisture without greasiness. It is completely non-greasy and vanishes into skin leaving well-moisturized and supple skin.
The serum comes in a small 30 mL clear glass bottle with a tiny nozzle that disperses the serum in tiny tiny squirts and only a few tiny squirts are enough to hydrate and moisturize the entire face.
I used it after clean ups and facials when my skin got stripped of the oils and felt a bit dry, it worked wonderfully in providing moisture and hydration and the skin felt supple.
The only hitch is the price, but since I got it through a sale, I have not felt the pinch.

- The price, Rs. 790 for 30 mL, otherwise, I am happy. Thinking twice, I wouldn’t mind spending such an amount to get a superbly hydrated skin.
- 30 mL is too less and if you are using it daily as a moisturizer, then it will get over soon.:)

Yeah I have slight waves…..I use schwarzkopf shampoo and conditioner…..only this works for my frizzy hair! And Oriflame leave-in-conditioner.

Aditi……………I am using it sparingly…..but it is working………………I finished half bottle in the last one month…….after using it 3 to 4 times a week…..but since only one or two drops are required for the entire face….i am thinking its not that pricey after all O:)

i’ve tried serums from clarins (the biphase hydraquanch intense serum) and estee lauder idealist pore refining serum..
my skin started breaking out after some time and i had to stop using them..what a waste of money as both of them are so exp,. :brokenheart: :brokenheart: :brokenheart:
i gave the clarins one to ma mom…and i still have the idealist…will try using it again and see how my skin reacts…

Yes Ankita…mine is an extremely oily skin and if I apply anything else than clean and clear moisturizer, it breaks out…..so this is working for me……… 🙂
i read sumwhere that if u think ur skin is too oily then u could use it just once a day preferably at night ,or once every 2 days,,,

Hi Jomol. Serums are good for people with oily skin, I use L’oreal Derma Genesis serum. It feels great on my skin.
