What I think about this: It’s a beautifully tinted, light moisturizer that can be used to create a subtle peachy look which complements most skin tones. Gives a very dewy look and does not look cake-y at all. Can be used throughout the year. Works like a charm in the humid weather. Love it 🙂 I was a bit sceptical before trying this out, since most products that claim to give a peachy appearance make me look orange. Not this one; it looks perfectly natural. Although this is a tinted moisturizer by itself, I generally use a moisturizer before using this, without which I feel it may be a tad drying on my skin. But if you have oily skin, I guess its fine to skip the moisturizer.

This is how the tube looks:

Oriflame Peach Me Perfect Skin Glow

The packaging is not very attractive, but practical.

Although, it looks pretty small, only a pea sized amount (or lesser) is required for one use so, this small tube comes a really long way.

With Oriflame, the products are either a hit or miss. In turn, they either work really well or don’t do anything at all. By anything, I mean I have never had any allergic reactions to them.

The tube opening and product colour:

Oriflame Peach Me Perfect Skin Glow

This is the perfect peach colour I wanted. Texture-wise, it’s a lot less thick in consistency than a foundation, not very watery but at the same time spreads wonderfully. The description from the Oriflame website says tinted gel, which can be a bit misleading although some may find this a bit runny in texture.

The smell is lovely as well, sort of fruity and not very overpowering too.

I don’t think you can see this in the pic but there are very very tiny glitter particles. They sort of reflect light very well and the shimmer does not show up at all.

Here’s a swatch of it on my hand:

After blending well, here we go:

Oriflame Peach Me Perfect Skin Glow

How can this be applied?

  • I usually take less than a pea sized amount and apply with my fingers on my face and neck.
  • Since this is not as thick as a foundation, there is no need for a wet sponge/brush.
  • Wearing foundation on top of this would be optional.
  • I like the coverage from this one so, I choose to skip foundation when I apply this. Again, for people who need heavy coverage, this can be used as a good canvas to work your foundation on. Also, looks great in photos . 🙂
  • Finally, to set it, I use some loose/translucent powder and it stays put for up to 5 hours, which I think is awesome for any tinted moisturizer.

What I like about this product:

  • Blends very easily, doesn’t cake, no settling onto fine lines, light.
  • Does not clog pores
  • Goes on sale quite often. Oriflame often has this on 40% off or buy one get one free, so if you like this, that’s a nice way to stock up.
  • Affordability – Rs. 249 for 30 ml, I think is fine considering the amount of product that is needed on a daily basis.
  • User friendly packaging. I can totally tote this around in my bag. It’s so cute and perfect! The tube packaging is hygienic.
  • Perfect product consistency for quick application and safe for work-wear.

Here’s a pic to show you people the size of the tube.

Oriflame Peach Me Perfect Skin Glow

It’s a little broad, but small. Cute right?  🙂 Smaller than the size of my hand.

What I dislike about this product:

  • Available only through Oriflame consultants. Not available easily in stores.
  • Lack of more shades to choose from. Not sure if the “one shade suits all” would work with everyone.
  • Sometimes, when I keep the tube inverted, too much product spills out when I open it, since it’s a little watery in texture. Not a big gripe, something that I can overlook.

Would I re-purchase this?

Yes. It’s an awesome product. Must have in my make-up arsenal and one of the best tinted moisturizers I have ever used! I reach out for this almost every day. I totally recommend trying this out. Even if it doesn’t match as such, it can be mixed with moisturizer/foundation to match any skin tone.

My Rating: 4 .5/5

This product is not available within the US 🙁 so, I am gonna stock up on this when I get a chance or at least until I find something as good as this 🙂 . Having said that, Urban Decay has come up with a new tinted moisturizer with SPF 20 “Urban Decay Urban Defense Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20”. Going to try that soon…keeping my fingers crossed. 🙂

Hope you liked my review.

Do you have any favourite tinted moisturizers that you have tried? Do you have a fab product that works like this?

  1. Product sounds good. Would like to give it a try. In fact, once I almost bought it through ebay. But then the concern of getting a TM online made me chicken out, coz I was scared I would get the wrong shade 🙁

I guess its high time I try this..Thank you for the review Appu 🙂
    Btw, Nice name

    1. Thanks Poornima 🙂 Yeah you must try this…now that you know there is only one shade, you can order it safely online 🙂

  2. This sounds nice. Though I feel the peach tones will clash with my pink undertones 🙂

Currently I am using Ponds TM & am loving it 🙂

    1. Hi Tanveer, I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about the Ponds TM also…if I am not wrong, I think they have about 2-3 shades to choose from which is nice 🙂

    1. wow…Thanks Rati 🙂 I the biotique one is really tempting…I have never seen this at the Biotique counters (on to my wishlist this goes ) 🙂 only drawback is the tub…I wish they sold this in the Ponds TM packing…its lovely 🙂

  3. Never tried Oriflame… But this looks good… :-))

Although this one is not for me.. I’ll need more moisturising and more coverage.. So will need a moisturiser be4 and foundation afterwards… 🙁 🙁

    1. Thanks Mrunmayee 🙂

This can be a bit drying without moisturizers. And yeah the coverage is only mediocre 🙁 but there’s something that makes me come back to it…dunno wat 🙂

  4. hi appu

    very nice detailed review
i am a huge oriflame fan i love this product
although it does not match my skin tone…but mixing and matching with other products works well

    1. Exactly… it doesn’t go well with my skin tone either 🙁 it gives me a peachy rosy colour which clashes with my yellow skin… i sometimes mix it with lakme souffle + moisturizer and apply 😛

      1. @ Neha – Thanks 🙂 I know mixing and matching works for some people, although its an extra step 😛
@ Urmi – It could be the quantity you are using too. The first time I used this I used a lil’ extra
and ended up looking like a total disaster 🙁

I used to like lakme souffle a lot too 🙂 …only thing was the pot packaging and it needed to be blended a lot 🙁

  5. thnx soo much for the review… i wanted to try this for a very long time… but i never brought it thinking i will not suit my tone… m really fair…
i think this time i will buy this… m a big Oriflame lover and a member too…

  6. Hi Deeptima,

Glad I could help 🙂 If you are really fair this would work very well. Try and let me know how it works 🙂

    1. Oh, and if you are a member you get it at an even cheaper price right? All the more reason to buy 🙂 Enjoy 😛

  7. Thanks for the review Appu.. wanted to try this and the gel foundation from avon from quiet some time but somehow it always got stalled but now after your review will order it for sure..!!
hope it works with my skin tone..!!

  8. I am asking for this Oriflame TM from my local oriflame agent, it is reassuring to know that it wont turn orange!!!!

  9. Great in-depth review Appu!
I got a chance to try this product while at a wedding in India in May and I’m on the fence about it.
I have oily, acne-prone skin and it didn’t provide enough coverage for me. I had to cover it up with MAC Mineralize Skin Finish. I wore it by itself one day and it melted off my face 🙁
On the other hand it works great for my aunt (who suggested it to me), she has dry skin with a little bit of pigmentation and it evens everything out for her.
I have to add that the smell is absolutely divine, smells like a peach milkshake!

    1. Hi Devika,

Yes, this one’s definitely a hit or miss 🙂 and the smell is oh-so-divine 🙂

The coverage is less compared to MAC Mineralize Skin Finish, but for how light this one is, the coverage is really good 😀

  10. great review n im really tempted but i have crazy oily skin so wanted to know whether it will suit me.
I have heard alot abt avon gel foundation could neone do a review.its really difficult for me to choose a foundation during humid months n i always end up using my cover girl foundation which is great for winters n summers but creates havoc during monsoon.HELP ?:-)

    1. Hey Sonia,

Thanks 🙂 Are you in India or else where? If you are in India, oriflame & ponds have very good tinted moisturizers. Now, even Biotique has come up with some good ones. All these are reviewed on IMBB 🙂 I haven’t tried Avon but heard its pretty good too 🙂

In the US, I can suggest some good brands for u that I have tried 🙂

  11. india.im actually quiet wary of buying products cuz of my skin n normally end up buying all d wrong things n repent.i wish someone would do an article for d ideal oily skin arsenal

    1. hmmm….yeah mine is combi/dry…if u have oily anything gel based should do great…mayb u can give avon a shot…there r lots of online reviews right…
