Today I’ll be reviewing yet another body wash from Original Source. Summers have kind of started here in Mumbai, so I thought of buying some new shower gels to combat the sticky climate. The body wash sounds great and looks perfect for summer; hence I picked this one up along with my sweet scented shower gels. Let’s get started with the review now!

My Experience with Original Source Blue Ginger Extreme Hydration Body Wash:
This shower gel comes in a very different and very attractive packaging. The bottle is slightly transparent so you can see how much of the product is left inside. The back side has the details printed on it. It has a black coloured flip cap that shuts with a click and prevents the product from leaking.
The shower gel is a sky blue-coloured runny liquid. As soon as you open the flip cap you are greeted with the spicy aroma of ginger which you can clearly make out. The fragrance is very different from the other shower gels that I have. This one’s spicy, pungent and smells ginger-like and not everyone would like this fragrance. I have mixed feelings about the fragrance myself. But one thing’s for sure, you can’t use this every day! I’m planning to give this shower gel to my brother as this leans more towards the manly fragrances.
It lathers very well on the skin but you have to be careful of how much you use it. Since it is runny, you tend to use a little extra product if you are not careful. It makes my skin feel and look super clean and fresh. The fragrance doesn’t last at all after you wash off. Also, it doesn’t dry out your skin, but don’t forget to use a lotion afterwards! But as claimed, it doesn’t provide ‘extreme hydration’.

• Washes off pretty easily.
Cons of Original Source Blue Ginger Extreme Hydration Body Wash:
• Runny consistency that might lead to more product usage each time.
• Fragrance is very unique and not every one’s cup of tea.
• Doesn’t provide extreme hydration.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Original Source Blue Ginger Extreme Hydration Body Wash?
If you like trying out different fragrances, you may try this one. I’m finding it difficult to empty this bottle out, so I won’t repurchase for sure!

What’s the point of buying it when that extreme hydration claim falls flat 🙁 !!!!
