Hi dear IMBBians,
How are you all? How is your weekend going on? I am super busy with shopping, with lots of end of season sale going on. It’s really tough to cover all the stores in two days. As I told you all earlier, I bought a few things at the London airport in a jiffy. One of those products is Original source Liquorice Body scrub. I bought it that time because I really loved its fragrance. Who doesn’t like a pleasant smelling scrub? Today, I am going to review Original source extreme clean Liquorice Body Scrub. Keep reading ,there is a twist in the tale.

Product Description (from website):
Original Source Extreme deep clean Liquorice Body Scrub gives you that squeaky clean wash with a blast of amazing fragrance. Go on dare to try!
My Experience with Original Source Extreme Deep Clean Liquorice Body Scrub:
The Original Source Extreme Deep Clean Liquorice Body scrub comes in an off white pack with black flip open cap. The cap is really tight and requires a little pressure to open up. I will count it as a plus point because it has to be stored upside down. If the cap will not be tight enough, there will be product wastage. The packaging is quite stylish but not travel friendly as it is bulky. The scrub is pale white in colour with very tiny light brown exfoliating particles. The consistency of the scrub is very runny. The best part about the scrub is its fragrance, very mild and pleasant. I don’t know what exactly liquorice extract smells like, but I found the fragrance to be like that of fennel seeds (saunf). This fragrance is refreshing and soothing. I think it can be used by both men and women.
Two to three coin-sized amount of the scrub is enough for the whole body. It lathers up really well. I was disappointed with the exfoliation as it is very mild. I could barely feel the tiny particles. I like scrubs with coarse particles. It does clean the skin well but doesn’t work well as a scrub. My expectation from a scrub is to remove blackheads and whiteheads and also to help with unclogging the pores, and also in keeping ingrown hair at bay. It doesn’t make my skin dry and skin was feeling soft after using this.
But what’s the use of a scrub if doesn’t exfoliate well. I think I will use it as an alternate body wash instead of body scrub. I think its best suited for dry or sensitive skin, which needs just mild exfoliation.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Original Source Extreme Deep Clean Liquorice Body Scrub?
I will recommend it for dry or sensitive skin but will not repurchase it. I loved the fragrance very much but I am disappointed with the exfoliation. I like scrubs with big particles, so I will skip this one.
3/5 (very mild exfoliation).
