Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash Review

Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash

Hi lovely ladies,

Finally, much awaited holidays have started and I am in a very relaxed mood watching lot of TV and enjoying being cozy and warm at home. I’m also trying to build my New Year resolution plan for next year. What are your plans for the coming year?

Today I am here to review one of the best-selling face wash from Origins – Checks and Balances frothy face wash.

Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash

Product description by Origins:

When it comes to faces with dry and oily places, it takes a clever cleanser to balance the two. This gentle, frothy face wash carefully does both jobs without canceling each other out. Broad Leaf Kelp Extract discourages excess oil production, while Wheat Protein balances and protects dry prone zones. And Tourmaline actually makes water wetter to more easily disperse dirt and sebum down the drain. There’s also aromatic Bergamot, Spearmint and Lavender to add pleasure to the process. Skin feels comfortably refreshed after cleansing, never tight, pulled or parched. Best for all skin types

How to use: Squeeze small amount into palm, add tepid water to lather. Swirl over skin, steering clear of eyes. Rinse thoroughly. Great for A.M. and P.M. cleansing.

My experience with Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash:

I am always in search of good a facial cleanser which doesn’t tug on my skin and maintains the moisture on my face after washing. One of my most favorite cleansers is by Cetaphil. I always loved it as it is a mild face wash without any fragrance. I have used it for so long that I wanted to try my hands on a different face wash which performs as well as Cetaphil, while on search I tried various other brands and most of them made my skin to feel very dry immediately after washing. I used various other products from Origins and quite recently I decided to try their very famous and best-selling face wash and I must say I’m absolutely in love with this face wash. This is my second love after Cetaphil.

This product is suitable for all skin types and mostly contains natural ingredients which are not harsh on the skin.

It is formulated without Parabens, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol, Huile mineral, PABA, Petrolatum, Paraffine, DEA, Synthetic color, synthetic fragrance and animal ingredients.

Bottle: It comes in a squeezy transparent tube which makes it ideal to squeeze out the product as much as you wish and also you can see how much product is used up. This is also ideal to carry around as the tube is light weight.

Consistency: The product comes out as a white creamy mousse product and not a liquid product as other face washes. The consistency is very smooth and fine cream without any tiny beads for exfoliation. A little goes a long way and the product lathers up a lot. You just need a pea size to completely clean the face and neck.

Smell: Personally I smell it be more spear-minty which is not bothersome. I felt it had a strong fragrance when I immediately used it on my skin but as I lathered it more on my face, the smell vanished and there was no smell left after washing the face.

Feel on the skin: This frothy face wash helps to remove even minor traces of makeup, dirt and oil from the face without leaving it dry. It helps to maintain the essential oils/ moisture on the skin and leaves it feeling fresh and clean leaving behind a nice glow on the face. This also helps to use a very little moisturizer after face wash. This did not trigger any breakouts on my skin which is a big plus.
