Hello Beautiful ladies,
The first time I got this product was as a sample with another Sephora purchase. They sent it in by mail, while I was in the U.S. I love Sephora in the U.S. They have so many products. It was the first time I ever sampled any product. After the first two usages, I had to rush back to Sephora to get it. My mask mania caught onto me and I gave in. Read on to find out why I love the Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay so much.
A two-in-one purifying mask and skin refiner that’s formulated with Canadian willowherb, Persian silk tree, and a potent blend of actives to smooth, refine pores, and boost skin’s overall quality.
What it is formulated to do:
Glow big with this innovative, multitasking mask. Made with Mediterranean rose clay, Canadian willow herb, and exfoliating jojoba beads, it helps gently deep clean while refining skin’s texture. Pores appear to vanish and clarity is restored for a radiant, youthful-looking complexion that’s silky-smooth to the touch.

My Experience with Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay:
Origins is one of my favourite brands for masks. I think they have some of the best, most effective masks ever made; the charcoal mask is one of my favourites. Just about two months ago, I started to use the Clarisonic to clear my skin. I felt that the Clarisonic sort of opened up my pores. The Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask was my answer to open pores; because using a primer before makeup doesn’t really solve the issue.
I use the product once to twice a week. I apply it all over my face and leave it on for about 20 minutes till it completely dries. While washing it off, I let the mask exfoliate my face with the jojoba beads present in it. Post wash, my skin feels tighter and fresher. The product claims to clarify the skin; I felt it brightened my face. That is giving my face a youthful-looking complexion.
When I have the mask on, unlike most masks that sort of suffocate the skin, I feel it lets my skin breathe even though it is making my skin tighter. Also, some tightening masks that I’ve used before left my face really dry. This one left my face so soft and hydrated; possibly because of the rose in it.
I can’t say that the glow lasts very long. It could be because I apply makeup on a daily basis and that takes its toll on the skin. I can’t vouch for the deep cleansing claim either. I use the Clarisonic and other face washes to clean my face; but, maybe it does clean my face and I just don’t realize it. I love it when I buy products and it does more than I was hoping for; this one tightens pores and exfoliates. It’s great for the days when I don’t want to use cleansing devices.
Regarding the price, I think it’s reasonable to spend a little extra dollar “investing” in good skin care. As always with Origins masks, a little product is enough to cover your face and neck. So, 25 $ is perfectly alright. I like this mask much more than the Origins best-selling Charcoal mask. Added mask bonus – the mask is pink and smells soft and rosy – so cute and girly! What’s not to love. Overall,I am very happy with the product. This is not one of my random buys. It was tested before purchase, so no regrets whatsoever.
