My Experience with Orly Nail Lacquer in Confetti, Choreographed Chaos and Passion Fruit:

Packaging: The Orly lacquer comes in circular glass bottles which are pretty handy. It features an award-winning gripper cap. Orly claims that this cap is ergonomically designed so as to give the user a firm hold allowing for smooth and precise application. Honestly, I did not find too much of a difference in application due to this cap. So, it is not really a selling point for me.

Brush Applicator: The brush applicator is pretty decent and it picks up fairly good quantity of the polish. The application is easy too.

Drying Power: The nail polish dries pretty fast. Even 2 coats dry out fast and I surely did not have to wait for the nail polish to dry before I could get back to my work.

Staying Power:  The staying power is really good and the polish easily stays on my nails for 4-5 days before it starts fading.

Now, for some detailed review of each of the colors:

1. Confetti:

Confetti

Confetti is the lightest of light pink. So much that it almost appears white. It is definitely sheer and I need to apply 3 coats to get rid of any visible nail line. The finish is glossy. It is one of those shades which gives a very nice feminine, well-manicured look to your hands. Having said that, this is also a shade which make your hands look slightly darker than they are.

2. Choreographed Chaos:

Choreographed Chaos

Bold Barbie Bubblegum pink – that is what Choreographed Chaos is all about. I feel younger girls will enjoy wearing this shade. At least, I personally do not like this shade. Also, this is not exactly a unique shade and I am sure you will find dupes easily. The nail polish is decently pigmented, but you still do need 2 coats to achieve an even finish. The finish itself is a glossy crème.

3. Passion Fruit:

Neon orange nail lacquer

Aah, my eyes!! This shade is a super duper hot neon coral orange. It totally reminds me of those fluorescent highlighters lying around in my stationery. This is absolutely not my kind of shade and I use it only for some nail art designs.  The finish is a glossy crème and you need 2 coats to even it out.

Pros of Orly Nail Lacquer in Confetti, Choreographed Chaos and Passion Fruit:

  • Good staying power (4-5 days).
  • Dries very fast.
  • Nice variety of colors.
  • Good consistency of polish, applies well.

Cons of Orly Nail Lacquer in Confetti, Choreographed Chaos and Passion Fruit:

  • Most shades need two coats for an intense color payoff.
  • The shades might not suit all skin tones.

IMBB Rating:
3/4
