Osmo Blinding Shine Definer Review

Hi ladies,

I don’t know what has come over me, but these days, I am all into hair styling and hair care products. I am on a mission to reduce heat styling and hence I am heavily relying on products that will aid my blow-dry, curling and straightening routine. On one such quest, I found this product which looked very unique.

My Experience with Osmo Blinding Shine Definer:

Now, the name itself is so attractive 😛 I had zero expectation from this product frankly. This comes in a handy deo stick kind of packaging. The cap comes off and you need to turn the base below, till the product reaches the top and oozes out of the small hole at the top for dispensing. Initially, I was totally confused and had to swivel the base for a long time for some action.

You need very less product for each hairstyling session. This is like your thickened coconut oil in winters, only that it is very greasy and it can get sticky in a good way.

All the claims that the product makes are true I must stay. It tames frizz like no other other. It lends a healthy oil-like shine, but does not feel like your normal hair oil. It aids in setting the style or look by taming frizzy hair. It also tames flyways like magic. I would say if nothing works for your flyaways and frizzy static hair, this will come to your rescue. Do not expect much, but yes, it will deliver the shine and tame the flyaways for sure. I like how this product works for me as a finishing product.

On the contrary, if you have fine hair, this will weigh it down. It might make oily scalp/hair problems worse, so only if you are ready to add grease to your hair, work with it. Dry and frizzy hair with fly-aways will love it best. You need very little indeed.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Osmo Blinding Shine Definer?
I might repurchase because this does help my kind of hair. If frizz and fly-aways bother you and you want to add some shine to thick dull hair, go for it.
