My Experience with Osmo Thermal Defense Heat Protector:

I have used many heat protecting sprays in the past, namely Tresseme, Toni and Guy, Osis+ etc, but this has one has added a ton of softness to my hair. I do not claim that this helps my style, but somehow, using this makes my hair soft with heat styling. Using heated tools may fry your hair and makes it crisp and frizzy. If you have excess volume like me, this heat protector kind of tames your hair while making it manageable. I like to use it on wet hair and then blow dry. Then, I spray again a little bit on dry hair just before curling or straightening. This way, I manage to make my hair frizz-free and more tamed. I have to say my hair feels shiny too.

Smoothness and shine is what you get when you use this heat protector. I have not noticed much noticeable results from other heat defence sprays but this one has some results that you can actually notice. The bottle is bulky and might leak, so avoid carrying it around.

Also, it is not an aerosol spray, this feels quite wet. So wait till it dries before your use flat iron or else it sizzles. It smells soapy but nothing bothersome. I like the colored bottles of this brand. The downside of using sprays like this is that you might find hair getting greasy in two days, but I do not mind that all. I am happy with my styling results for two days along with smoothness.
