Outfit of the Day: Banarasi Saree with Traditional Ornaments

Hi lovely ladies,

Have missed a lot of activity on IMBB as I was tied up with work for the last 2 months. Hence, have lots to catch up ๐Ÿ™‚ . Today, my post is very different from what I wear on a regular basis.

Though I love sarees, yet I hardly wear them as most of my sarees are quite heavy and traditional. Do not get much occasions to flaunt those gems in my wardrobe ๐Ÿ™ . Recently, I had a wedding in my family and I took this opportunity to deck up in this gorgeous banarasi saree.

I must admit, this one is my favourite, simply love its color. The pallu has beautiful zari work. To complete the getup, I took a silver color potli bag. It complemented the silver zari on my banarasi saree.

I draped this red saree the Bengali way and paired it with traditional ornaments. Styled my hair accordingly and decorated my tresses with jasmine flowers (to make my look typically Bengali). Oh yes, do not miss the key chain at the back ๐Ÿ™‚
