Outfit of the Day: Black and Yellow Floral Dress

Hello Lovelies,

I am truly grateful for the chance to be able to share my reviews and OOTDs here on IMBB. I find this a great place to run to every now and then, to look good and to feel good. I honestly feel how this site gives a good push to every woman to do better in everything they do. They are letting so many thousands of ladies bloom πŸ™‚

Speaking of ladies blooming like flowers do, I feel like I want to bloom too in the floral dress I was wearing in this OOTD. I wore it on one of our family day out, when I was feeling extra girly, extra happy and lighthearted too.

I was wearing a black with yellow and orange flower print tube dress. I love the color combination of the dress as the yellow flowers really stood out from the black background. The addition of oranges and reds on the dress make it livelier.

The cut of the dress is very feminine and so comfortable to wear. It seems to slim down at the waist area which you can adjust too with the ribbon, which you can tie tight or loose at the back. The sweetheart neckline adds a girly feel and sweetness to the dress.

Because I easily get cold and it is breezy in the afternoon, I wore a shrug over the shoulder. Β I chose yellow one leaning on the mustard shade to match the color of flowers of my dress. The shrug I was wearing has this patterned rough texture to it and it is a bit loose. I like it that way as I don’t want to match structured or boxy cardigans on such a girly, spring-y, summer dress this time.

I wore simple suede shoes to keep the colors I wear to minimum. I also feel that I am playing Β a lot with prints from shoulder to knees already. For my bag, I chose orange sling bag for that summer vibe.

Now for my accessories, I wore diamond-shaped studded fancy earrings with colors of spring and summer to it. It gives a nice pop of color and glow to my face which I kept simple with minimal makeup. I decided not to wear necklace to keep my neck area and face looking very simple and clean. To maintain that fresh look, I tied my hair in a clean but a bit loose bun.

I wore my very simple gold faced watch with slim black bracelet. I combined my red customized leatherette bracelet with it. It has gold letters on it that spells my name and my husband’s name on it, well for added sweetness. πŸ˜‰

For makeup, I used Maybelline BB Silk Cake Powder on face. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable in Sweetheart on lips. I swiped Dior Show Mascara on lashes and drew a clean, thin line on the lids with 4U2 Brown Gel Liner on eyes. I dusted Clinique Blush in Fig on Cheeks.

Well that’s it. I hope you like it πŸ™‚

    1. Hi Neha, thanks so much for making me want to do better and wear something “special”. πŸ™‚
I live in Baguio City, the summer capital of Philippines. It is colder here in my place by 10 degrees than any other cities here. If you plan to visit Phil, I’d suggest you visit this particular city, we grow lots of flowers and strawberries here. Relaxing place to stay.:) Me, I want to visit India too! I wanna see a lehenga and saree in person. I remember when I was a kid, during our school program on a United Nations Day, I specifically picked to be our schools Ms. India for a day. At that time, I think Sushmita Sen is the reigning Ms Universe. πŸ˜‰ I wore a dress I copied from Almanac. πŸ™‚ Thanks Neha.
