Outfit of the Day: The Day Before The Tomatina Festival, Spain

Last month, Vid and I flew to Spain to attend the Tomatina festival in Bunol (you can read all about it here). The festival has been on our bucket list for years, so we were really looking forward to it.
But participating in the world’s biggest food fight means getting dirty – think tomato slush everywhere you could possibly imagine! Anticipating this mess, we made sure to dress up a bit the day before the Tomatina (because who knew what would happen after? ;-))
On this day, we went off-the-beaten-track to explore one of Southern Spain’s gems – The El Torcal National Park. The surreal rock formations in this park are all made of limescale deposits.
I wore a light tie-n-dye maxi dress apt for the blistering Spanish summer. I combined that with ghunghroo bangles and a phulkari box-clutch bag.
I added fuchsia pink sandals to complement the colours of the clutch bag and pull the look together. Here are the photos.
It was indeed a smart decision because this is how everybody was looking by the end of Tomatina 😛
