Outfit of the Day: Houndstooth Print Dress
Hello Everybody!
Firstly, I would like to thank you all for the wonderful comments on my previous OOTD post, it means a lot to me 🙂
I was surprised to receive some compliments about what I wore for work today, so I came back home and quickly took some pictures for this OOTD post. Oh my God, this is getting so addictive.
I have been waiting to buy a nice formal dress or skirt in Houndstooth print for a while now. It is also known as dog’s tooth print by many high street stores. It is perceived to give a fierce look rather than being just another pretty print. I find the broken checks in this pattern way more interesting and fashionable than the regular ones and was excited to find this dress on my recent trip to Paris. I was happier that it was a pink and black combination as I have mostly seen it available in black and white.
I wore these bright matching earrings to add some fun to the outfit.
I finished off the look with black accessories, but wore nude shoes as I wanted to add some height to my short legs (hehehe).
