Outfit of the Day: Mint Green Kurti and Churidhar

Hello there!

I will be leaving Delhi soon and head back to Bangalore. Delhi and Gurgaon have been fun, but home is calling.

To wrap up my days here, went to Ambience mall with hubby dearest. I wore a mint green Lucknowi kurta with bottle green chudidaar. I love chickenkari work and the kurtas are idea summer wear!

I paired the outfit with my favourite juttis and bag. The bag is beautiful find from Kutch. Its big, bold and oh so very boho! It’s my go-to bag for everything Indian and fusion wear.

Mint Green

I am a big fan of juttis and have couple of them beauties.  I am wearing these beautiful jhumkas I bought from my favourite silverware shop in Pune called Pratha.

Kurti

My engagement ring and a ruby ring finished off the look.  Beauty-wise, I am wearing, Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart Valentine, Colorbar ultimate eyeliner in black, and Neutrigena ultrasheer dry touch sunblock with SPF 50+.

    1. Thank you so much Rati! You should try them. I have worked extensively with traditional artisans and my love for all the things traditional comes from the time spent with them.

Quick personal q….Lucknowi kurtis are pretty see through, what did you wear underneath? I mean otherwise the dark churidar shows through the light kurta and spoils the ensemble!

    1. Varsha! *thankyou* . I actually never wear anything underneath except skin colour *ra. I usually pick up heavy embroidery kurtis so it is not that see through. I am not a fan of slips under my clothes.

  9. Lovely OOTD Saee!! I love Lucknowi kurtis but mine are always get less wear out of it because they are so see through 🙁 And your zumkas are beautiful I am definitely checking out Pratha next time i go to Pune 🙂
