Outfit of the Day – Red and Yellow Saree with Bronze Jewellery

Hello Ladies,

Hope you all are doing well. ย Recently, I attended the marriage ceremony of my sister-in-law in Kolkata. Being her only bhabhi, I had to do a lot of work and hence I was the center of attraction as well, of course after the bride ๐Ÿ˜› The marriage took place in the month of September, and as usual, the temperature was extremely high. I planned to wear something lightweight, yet gorgeous so that it would suit the occasion and I ended up selecting a yellow and red colored saree with a tinge of purple to elevate the color combination, but the worst part is, I was so busy that I donโ€™t have a single good picture of mine clicked on that day. ย So, I thought of doing it now and here are some pictures of what I was wearing on that day.

Outfit of the Day Red and Yellow Saree with Bronze Jewellery

The saree is really a pretty one and I selected it on the very first look. It was light in weight, and yet a gorgeous one because of the color combination and the work. ย It is a pure raw jute silk saree with a red net palla. The saree has matte golden work on the borders with minute sequin work all over the body. ย The contrasting purple blouse added to the charm of the saree and elevated the colors.

Designer Yellow Saree

I donโ€™t prefer wearing too much jewelry, so I kept it simple with a bronze choker (hasli), and a pair of bronze polki earrings. I wore gold bangles and combined it with red stone ones. (I have very thin wrist, so I donโ€™t find bangles of my size easily, did not get bronze ones also).

Stone Earrings

Make up was just about a light application of foundation, eyeliner, bronze eye shadow, kajal (I can’t think of moving out without it) and a lipstick in pinkish shade with some rose blush.

Shoes

Completed the look with a maroon purse and a pair of maroon high heels!
