Kurtis are a staple in my office wardrobe. Having gotten bored of the usual A line ones, I picked this long flared one. The cotton fabric makes it very comfortable and the cut makes it airy and feminine.
To accessorize, I have gone all Indian and worn a pair of terracotta jhumkas, a large trinket bangle and random thin bangles.
That colorful embroidered bag has a story behind it. During a trek through the tribal village of Sapa in Vietnam, two tribal ladies accompanied us and helped us explore their village and climb their hills, literally lending a helping hand every time I found it hard to walk further. At the end of the trek I purchased this hand woven tribal bag and a piece of ancestral silver hair jewelry from them 🙂
