Outfit of the Day: Floral Velvet Dress
Hello sweetie pies,
I am currently busy watching TV as the elections fight is going on and I am so excited about the results. As summers are full on, the “cute little dress era” is beginning. Wearing jeans in summers is the toughest thing to do since they stick to the skin and it gets really uncomfortable in summers. I haven’t done an OOTD in a while, so thought of sharing my recent one.
I wore a pretty dress which is fully made up of velvet, with cute floral designs in red and pink which gives a beautiful contrasting effect to the charcoal grey velvet. What I love about this dress is that it fits the body perfectly! It comes a little above the knee length. I paired it up with a hot pink floral clutch to match the cute pink flowers in my dress and to make it stand out.
I wore a pair of silver heels, not that silver, but a cool silver. I wore my pearl studs. As my graduation is done, in the free time, I was cutting my hair, so gave some layers to it. So in order that the layers appear, I did not straighten my hair, just a bit of blow dry to set. I clipped a small pink tic tac pin at the back of my hair to make it a little cute.
For makeup, I used Maybelline dream matte mousse, Maybelline pure mineral compact, LA colors blush in natural, Maybelline gel liner and essence glossy lip balm in cherry.
That was all about my ootd and I hope you like this simple and summery look of mine!
