Outfit of the Day: Playing With Pastels
Hello ladies! How’s everyone doing?
I return with another OOTD: pleasant colors for the pleasant day! 😀
My love for blacks and reds aside (I did two Red-Black Outfits back to back this month), I love wearing pastels during winters! I know pastels are THE summer colors, but wearing them during winters totally brightens up my mood!! 😀
I absolutely adore the color of this jumper, you see me wearing today. It is such a soothing, feel-good color for me! And the best thing is- it goes with almost a million bottom colors; be it a pair of bubblegum-color jeans, a classis pair of white denims or a darker shade of mint pants- it makes everything look good! 😀
I have had a love-hate relationship with these leggings. The moment I saw them at the store, I pounced at them with ecstasy, thinking I had made the greatest discovery in the history of mankind! 😛 I thought of all the hearts I’ll make go green by wearing them! *evil grin* When I returned back home however, I thought I had wasted money and I would never give them a second look after a wear or two. Then I saw a picture of Deepika Padukone wearing something similar recently, and my liking for them deteriorated even more! 😛 My friends loved them! My brother hated them! I’m actually in a pickle right now! Let’s see what you guys have to say about them! 😉
I have been smitten by the color-block trend to say the least, and I can’t help but find myself mix-matching different colors every time I see even the slightest scope! I therefore, paired my outfit with my most favorite pink peep-toe heels to bring some texture to the whole look.
Because the days have become pretty sunny, my jewelry is getting to see the outside world again! 😀 I finished off my look with simple white and silver pieces to maintain a balance of colors.
