Outfit of the Day: The Girl in Black

Black has always been one of my favourites when it comes to clothes. Black gives us a slimmer appearance and bold confidence. As gold is currently trending, I added gold accents to my black dress.

I had a date night with my husband and wanted to make the evening more dramatic and black was the perfect colour! As it was a dinner outing and me being a foodie, I had to make sure I wore something loose as I didn’t want to look shaggy! Remember scooby dooby do? Only 90’s kids will understand me!

As the Coachella festival is currently on, I couldn’t stop myself from celebrating it and pampered myself with some hot Coachella jewellery from Aldo. Trust me girls, they have the best jewellery out there. The necklace has beautiful neon coloured strings, it’s like a big Indian jhumka but with a western twist! No wonder even “gores” are copying our jewellery designs. The bangle makes me feel like a goddess as it looks like traditional Roman jewellery, and it just took my heart away the minute I saw it in the store! Have a look yourself, but beware, you may fall in love with it.

My shoes were also black and gold to match everything perfectly, but as they were pretty old, I did not want to focus on them and take a picture, however, it helped to complete my look.The fabric of the dress was so soft and satin that I felt I wore nothing, I was too comfortable in the dress. Remember fashion is what makes you feel comfortable and confident.
