My Take on Oxy Glow Nature’s Care Cucumber Skin Toner:

Like I said earlier, I was tempted to get this toner due to its pump packaging like most of the beauties of IMBB. It was part of my makeup haul that I did during the break time of my summer training this year as cucumber is a cool and refreshing way to be well equipped in fighting summer’s heat. This product at once became a must-have for me. Packed in a see-through bottle, this green-colored toner looks awesome and at the same time, it’s alcohol-free unlike Ayur toner and astringent range. Also, cucumbers are known to have astringent effect as well.

I came home, cleansed my face, and sprayed it on my face as mentioned in the directions. Yes, it does smell like cucumber, but the fragrance is more towards the bitter ones. I didn’t mind that much since I use bitter cucumbers in my home-made potions.  Overall, I’m okay with the fragrance.

It accidentally seeped into my eyes by mistake and it did sting my eyes.  The redness in my eyes lasted for around half an hour.  Despite all these negative factors, this was able to provide me a glow :preen: It added a nice sheen on my face.

Since it had caused irritation to my eyes, I discontinued its use for a few weeks.  Then, I read on IMBB how CTM routine does wonders for the skin. As I’m a member of oily skin gang, I don’t use cleansers that much.  So, after face wash, I use the toner onto my face using a cotton wool. It saves me from eye irritation and at the same time saves product because 5-7 pumps are sufficient on a cotton wool for the entire face and neck whereas while spraying, I needed 10 to 12 sprays for the entire face.

By the way, on shaking the bottle, see what happens:

Pros of Oxy Glow Nature’s Care Cucumber Skin Toner:

:rose: Smells like cucumber.
:rose: Gives a glow to the face instantly
:rose: Feels cool and fresh.
:rose: Mild and moisturizing for my oily skin in summers.
:rose: Pump dispenser.
:rose: Takes off all dirt even after having used a face wash.
:rose: Cost effective (it’s similar in some ways to the TBS cucumber toner reviewed here  at IMBB.  I was reading its review and yeah it was quite similar with the one I’ve. TBS one was somewhere around 500 bucks).
:rose: Cruelty free.
:rose: Edible ( 😆 see its marked on the packaging).
:rose: Lasts for 3-4 months even when used daily.
:rose: Alcohol-free and doesn’t rip off oil from the face like the Ayur toner.

Cons of :deadrose: Oxy Glow Nature’s Care Cucumber Skin Toner:

:deadrose: The scent of the toner reminds you of bitter cucumbers.
:deadrose: Limited availability.
:deadrose: Stings my eyes badly whilst cucumbers are known to lighten and soothe eye area/
:deadrose: Upon shaking, it forms bubbles as a soapy product would do :hunterwali:

Do I Recommend/Will I Repurchase Oxy Glow Nature’s Care Cucumber Skin Toner?

Yeah, I really don’t mind, but I surely will try some other toner that does not form soapy bubbles like this. Otherwise, it is doing its job well and definitely a better buy compared to Ayur toner.
