Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash Review

What do you do when the weather is too warm and you cannot hit the beach? My quick fix is to surround myself with things, which remind me of the seashore.  So, I decided to start my day with Pacifica’s Sea Foam Complete Face Wash. Not only its packaging, but also its name was too striking to ignore.

Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash Packaging:

The face wash is packaged in a lovely sky blue-hued plastic tube, which reminds of me of the tranquil seas. The white flip top cap of the face wash is sturdy and easy to use. It is a travel friendly tube, as I had no issues with spilling so far. The face wash is completely colorless. It has a distinct coconut fragrance.

My Experience with Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash:

A small blob of the face wash is sufficient to clean my face. It foams very mildly. You could see in the swatch that when I use the face wash over waterproof makeup, it is not able to completely remove it, but when I use this face wash in combination with Clarisonic’s Mia, it works great. You can see in the last swatch that the makeup is completely removed. Hence I prefer using this face wash in the mornings, as then I need mild cleansing, but in the evenings, when I have to use this face wash, I prefer to use it with Mia or after makeup remover.

I found the face wash very gentle on my skin. All skin types including sensitive skin could use it. After towel drying my face, I did not find my skin extremely tight. The aloe vera and glycerin present in the face wash did help in providing mild hydration while cleansing. As I have dry skin type, I do apply moisturizer afterwards. It rinses away without leaving any residue behind.

My skin feels clean and fresh after using this lightweight face wash. It contains sea algae extracts for antioxidant benefits which I did not notice on my skin. I also did not find any toning benefits offered by the presence of Coconut water and White tea leaf extracts. It contains papaya extracts to provide very gentle exfoliation. I really liked that the face wash is sulfate free and without parabens and phthalates.

 

The fragrance of the face wash is very pleasant. It has a distinct coconut fragrance that makes me feel as if I am on a beach. The face wash smells fresh without being overpowering. The fragrance does not linger on the skin after cleansing. Though the face wash has a summer theme to it, I find it to be a good everyday face wash.

• Aloe vera and glycerin present in the face wash protects skin from becoming super dry.

• Skin feels clean and fresh.
• Sulfate free and without parabens and phthalates.
• Contains distinct coconut fragrance, which is pleasant.
• Fragrance does not linger on the skin after cleansing.
• Requires very small amount to be used.
• Travel-friendly packaging.

Cons of Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash:

• Does not remove waterproof makeup completely.
• Did not notice antioxidant benefits of sea algae extracts or toning benefits of Coconut water and White tealeaf extracts.
• Might not be suitable if coconut fragrance is not preferred.

Would I Repurchase Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash?

It is a good face wash but not exquisitely the kind I would want to use every time. Hence I would not buy this product again, but if you are looking for a new face wash that you would like to try, I do recommend it!
