For the past couple of months, I have been trying and reviewing makeup wipes from several Korean brands, some high-end brands from Ulta and Sephora and some generic ones from the drugstore. I don’t usually reach for the brand Pacifica although it occupies a major shelf area in drugstores and Ulta. I got a good deal on these wipes at my local TJ Max and decided to add them to my skin care routine. As I have mentioned in all my previous reviews of makeup removal products, I love to wear makeup but the removal process is not as fun. The makeup removing process is messy, it takes a while to get all the gunk off and above of all, most makeup removers leave some residue behind, especially waterproof eye makeup is hard to remove even with high-end makeup removers. But makeup removing wipes do make the process a little easier and considerably mess free, even if they don’t leave face squeaky clean. My Experience with Pacifica Super Coco Pure Makeup Removing Wipes:
The products by Pacifica come dolled up in a fancy packaging and they do catch my eye whenever I walk by them. These wipes by Pacifica contain coconut water, aloe vera, papaya and calendula extract and are meant to detox and purify skin. These wipes are meant to clean face and remove makeup in a gentle manner and yet keep face skin hydrated and supple. Apart from two food grade preservatives and one surfactant to attract dirt off of face, these wipes contain several natural plant-based extracts which have skin soothing and hydrating properties.
These wipes have the right dimension to clean face, neck and eye makeup and one wipe is sufficient for one-time use. The wipes are made up of natural fiber and are mildly textured without being overly abrasive. They are 100% vegan and cruelty free. They contain coconut water and aloe vera extract which add moisture to face while removing makeup. It contains papaya extract which helps sooth skin and help in new cell regeneration. It contains calendula extract which is rich in anti-oxidants and help calm down bruised skin and keeps it supple.
All the Pacifica wipes that I have tried have performed in a similar manner and all are equally satisfactorily. Wipes come in a packet with a flap to cover the opening that dispenses the wipes. These wipes have a faint coconut aroma and smell very refreshing. The packaging is attractive, and the pink color really does stand out. These wipes are completely soaking wet with the product – not dripping wet but completely saturated with the cleansing solution. For the price paid, they are reasonably saturated with the product; one wipe is sufficient to clean the face and neck and so on. I break down the stubborn, waterproof makeup with cleansing oil or balm and then wipe off the gunk with these wipes. I then wash the makeup off of these wipes and then use them as wash cloths to clean my face and every other area I apply makeup. If used alone without cleansing oil, these wipes fail to remove eye makeup – eyeliner or mascara. Be as it may, for the price paid they are well worth a buy and a try.

Cons of Pacifica Super Coco Pure Makeup Removing Wipes:
- Might not work at all in removing waterproof eye makeup if used without cleansing balm or oil.
Would I Recommend/Repurchase Pacifica Super Coco Pure Makeup Removing Wipes?
These wipes by Pacifica are affordable and do justice to their price. They are not drying, don’t cause irritation, don’t clog pores and remove base makeup well if used with other cleansing medium I like their texture and the fact that they contain skin moisturizing and calming properties. I do recommend these wipes to others and this brand as well.
