How have you all been? I am drafting this while waiting for the match between Real Madrid and Barcelona to start. It’s going to be an interesting match with two of the best footballers- Ronaldo and Messi- playing. Well, I guess I should concentrate on writing this review and finish on time to watch the game.

My Experience with Palladio Be Chic Crazy Coral Lip Shine Ultra Shine Lip Gloss:

What I love about this lip gloss is its ease of wear. The doe foot applicator does a very good job. The black cap is quite tight. I have had a history of lip glosses leaking in the purse, so packaging-wise, I quite like it. The pigmentation is quite low. I need around 3 to 4 swipes to get some colour. And I have also noticed the top lip doesn’t pick up as much colour as the bottom. So need an extra swipe to get even colour. One of the reasons for this could be the lack of heavy chemicals.

Crazy coral is pinkish- coral colour. On my lips, it tends to look more towards the pinkish side, a nice pink. My natural lip colour is pink and I don’t see much of a difference in how they look other than the shine the gloss adds on. In the tube I can clearly see shimmers, but on the lips none. So it wouldn’t add any shimmers if I am wearing it on top of any lipstick. This moisturizes the lips very well with no stickiness and no white cast left behind. The quality definitely seems to be good.

True to its claims, there definitely is shine and that’s the only part I like. I have been sick all of this week and had to step out for a wedding ceremony. I was in no mood to wear any make up to cover my groggy eyes and sad face, I applied BB cream and this gloss without much thought. That’s when I saw the shine which did a good job to brighten up my face. Though by the time I reached the venue, which was to be precise 1.21 hours away, the colour was gone. Though a nice shine was left behind which looked pretty. So reapplication is required quite often which I don’t like in general. I do love Palladio lipstick but the lip gloss seems to be a bummer.

• Bad color pay off
• Low staying power
