Hope you are having lovely and fun summers. Today, I am going to review a really fun product that will bring the much needed coolness to the sultry summer heat: D It is the eye shadow quad in Blue Suede by Palladio beauty.
Read on to see if this product is cool or uncool.
Enhance and intensify your eyes with six beautiful and highly-pigmented Eyeshadow Quads. Each color combination has been customized by a team of Makeup Artists, to suit both the sophisticated and ostentatious makeup lovers. Compacts come in an array of matte and shimmery shades that can be used year-round. (Dual, sponge-tip applicator included.)
My Experience with Palladio Beauty Blue Suede Herbal Eyeshadow Quad:
This eye shadow quad comes in a handy compact quad set. The packaging is pretty standard. It lacks a mirror and the applicators are, as expected utterly useless. What I love about this quad is the color selection. The colors are shimmery highlighting silver white, an aqua-isblue, a deeper navy blue and a gorgeous grey black.
Two colors are absolute winners for me and the other two are just meh. Starting with the meh ones first-the blues. Well now this quad is called blue suede so you expect the blues to shine, you know. Unfortunately the blue colors, do not have a good pigmentation pay off. The light blue is decent but devoid of the pop. The navy blue has really weak, ashy pigmentation and lacks the beautiful wow factor that it promises in the pan.Having said that, I am head over heels in love with the silver white and grey black. They are full on oh my colors. Very pigmented and beautiful payoff. I like that they are buildable and there is no glitter fall out so to say.
I found use for the less pigmented shades and I must say it is a beautiful use. Now this quad claims to be herbal, so I assume it is pretty safe to skin. What I do is, using a smudging brush take the blue or aqua as needed and smudges it just below my kajal. This serves two purposes; firstly it stops kajal from bleeding (which is a big big issue for me). Secondly, it gives such a nice subtle but fun drama to the eyes. I can’t tell you enough, absolutely love it.
Pros of Palladio Beauty Blue Suede Herbal Eyeshadow Quad:
• Beautiful color selection
• Excellent grey and white shades
• Blue shades can be used for smudging the kohl in the under eye area.
Cons of Palladio Beauty Blue Suede Herbal Eyeshadow Quad:
• No mirror
• Applicators are a waste
• Blues are not well pigmented
Final Verdict on Palladio Beauty Blue Suede Herbal Eyeshadow Quad:
Average product. Not the “throw in the dustbin” kinds, but definitely not worth purchasing, given that Maybelline and other drugstore brands offer the same thing at a cheaper price. Buy it only on discount.
