Hope you all are enjoying weather today! It’s such a relief from the heat owing to this windy and rainy bliss in NCR! Iam loving it.I have recently developed this aversion to beauty products and am into skin care products these days. Probably due to this summer, I like to leave my skin bare with no makeup. Just a layer of aloe vera gel and my Vaseline petroleum jelly feels sufficient for me! But today, I have a lipstick review for you all.
With luxurious moisture and pigment, this electrifying formula comes in 33 high-fashion shades that are sure to make heads turn. Full-coverage properties keep color in place for hours without drying the lips.
Use alone, or beneath your favourite Palladio lip gloss for added shine.
$6.00- It varies from website to website.
My Experience with Palladio Herbal Lipstick in Rosey Plum:
The fact that this is a herbal lipstick made me write this review as I have not come across any such lipstick before .If you look at the ingredient list, it has a lot of organic things like aloe, flower extract, soybean oil etc. which I really adore. The lipstick comes in a very average silver-colored packaging color-coded at the bottom. Shade # and name along with quantity is labelled on a sticker on the cap. The lipstick closes with a tight click and can be easily carried around in your bag without mess. I was not very impressed with the packaging though!
The lipstick has a weird smell to it. I could not identify it but to me it reminds me of an old lipstick scent.! Though it fades, I do not like it at all.
The shade is a mix of dark pink and brown and would suit wheatish and fair skinned beauties. However it can wash out the dark skin tone. There is fine gold shimmer milled into it and can easily be seen in the swatch also. This color appears to be darker in the tube; however when applied to lips it is a nice shade for office or casual use.
The lipstick has a smooth texture and can be easily applied without tugging. It is definitely not a highly moisturizing lipstick; neither a drying one. However, after some time, it felt sticky on my lips.Pigmentation and smoothness is fine.
The staying power is just average, it lasts for 2-3 hours without eating or drinking. After light eating ,it starts to fade and is almost invisible after a heavy meal. So it would require reapplication after every 3 hours or so. It does not transfer too much since it’s not very creamy. However, I wouldn’t mind applying it again.
Pros of Palladio Herbal Lipstick in Rosey Plum:
• Herbal lipstick with organic ingredients
• Daily use shade
• Good pigmentation
• Smooth Texture
Cons of Palladio Herbal Lipstick in Rosey Plum:
• Average packaging
• Strange fragrance
• Low staying power
3.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: I think it’s a good herbal option for your lips and I would like to see what other colors does it offer. However, if they could improve a bit on the fragrance and texture, then it would be great.
Have a happy day ahead girls. See you all soon!
