My Experience with Palladio Petal Pink Lip Slix:

It comes in a very normal small wooden pencil with a grayish cap. It looks cute and the pencil actually indicates the pink shade of the crayon. Its tiny size is travel friendly, but it needs to be sharpened and the company doesn’t provide any sharpener with this product. So it is really difficult to find a sharpener that’s perfect for this one. Also the crayon needs to be sharpened very frequently, which I don’t like. Basically for its super creamy texture, it needs to be sharpened every alternate day, if you happen to use it regularly.

I have the shade Pink Petal (PL-LC06). As the name suggests, it’s a pink shade; it is a very cute baby pink shade with lots of silver shimmer. I usually don’t like a shimmery lip color. But this one looks shiny sweet pink on lips. It looks so natural and is very wearable for office and college. It almost goes with any outfit. It gives a pretty touch to my face.

It contains micro silver shimmers and shimmer doesn’t look overpowering actually. But after few hours, when the pink fades away, it appears light silvery pink on me. And it washes out my medium complexion a little. So, if you are a dusky beauty, it might wash out your beautiful skin tone. Otherwise it looks great on fair skin.

lip pencil

It is decently pigmented but not super pigmented for dark, pigmented lips. It needs multiple swipes to build up nice color intensity. As it is a crayon pencil, it lines up my lips nicely and provides a perfect shape to them. This Palladio lip slix has an extremely creamy and smooth texture. It glides easily on lips and gives an even application.

pink lipstick

As it is super creamy in texture, it keeps lip moisturized and soft. It doesn’t settle in the fine lines. It has a nice glossy finish and provides a lovely glowy to my lips. It can be removed with a wipe easily and the shimmer doesn’t stick to the lips. I definitely love its texture but owing to its super creamy texture it gets finished quickly. It also doesn’t have any strong smell. It has a pleasant, herbal smell in it.

hand swatch

This shimmery lip crayon looks nice for around 2 hours after application. But the shimmer looks little overpowering after few hours. The pink shade fades after few hours and then it leaves a light pink stain on lips. But the silver shimmer stays perfectly on lips and makes my lips look over shiny. And who would like silver lips! It looks patchy and not good. It does transfer a lot. It totally fades with heavy lunch. So it can’t stay for long on me. It stays for around 3 hours nicely without a meal. After that, my lips feel dry and I must need a lip balm. And honestly, it doesn’t look good after fading.

Overall, it’s a nice product to try, but not the best. The pink shade looks so pretty on me and gives a very fresh look. I like to wear it casually when I am not in mood of makeup. But I don’t like its low staying power.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Palladio Petal Pink Lip Slix?
It is a pretty shade, but as I have already told, I am not a fan of shimmery lips. So, I will not repurchase it. I would not highly recommend this as it is just an average one.
