I absolutely love the products from the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter range. They suit most skin types and are so soothing on skin. Today’s review is about a scrub from the brand. Let’s see if Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Micro Fine Exfoliating Facial Scrub could impress me or not.
$9.95 for 5.25 oz.
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Micro Fine Exfoliating Facial Scrub uses milk natural exfoliants, crushed walnut shells and cocoa powder, to gently exfoliate the surface of the skin. Skin is noticeably smoother and brighter, and better able to absorb treatment products.
My Experience with Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Micro Fine Exfoliating Facial Scrub:
The packaging is decent. It comes in a white and orange tube made of sturdy plastic. All product details are written on the tube in beautiful fonts. The tube has a flip open cap, and is quite travel friendly.
I remember using scrubs by Everyuth long back, and this reminds me of that. The texture is quite nice. It feels scrubby on skin, if you get what I mean. It is creamy but not very mild, so if you like slightly abrasive scrubs like I do, this one is perfect. For my normal-oily skin, which is prone to blackheads and whiteheads, this provides just the right amount of heavy-duty scrubbing without feeling scratchy on skin. It prevents greasy buildup and controls clogged pores.
The granules are micro-fine, which really clean my skin well and impart a radiant healthy skin. It suits sensitive skin like mine, without causing any redness or breakouts. It removes dead cells and reveals the healthy cells underneath. It doesn’t dry out skin, however follow up with a moisturizer is recommended.
It has a pleasant smell, quite common to all Palmer’s cocoa butter products which is mild and soothing. It doesn’t feel strong or overpowering and won’t bother sensitive noses.
I use this scrub four times a week or every alternate day and my skin looks well maintained. I also use it on my body before shaving to eliminate ingrown hair and have a closer shave. It is free from phthalates and parabens, thus a great skin friendly as well as environment-friendly option to add to your routine.
