My Experience with Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil:

Packaging: The cleansing oil comes in a long, fat transparent bottle, which is heavy but still, it’s handy to use. The name and all the other product-related information are printed over it. We can keep a check on the quantity since it is a see-through one. It comes with a pump mechanism, which is super convenient to use. The quantity is sufficient that will last for around 6-8 months if used twice or thrice in a week.

Consistency, smell and feel on the skin: The consistency is super runny just like any other cleansing oil. In the bottle, it appears to be yellow but, it looks sheer when taken out. It has a mild rosehip scent similar to that of a baby oil. I only need a little amount of the product for my entire face. It does not irritate my skin, in fact, it hydrates my skin well. It feels lightweight and gentle on my skin, unlike the regular cleansing oils.

Results: I gently rub it on my skin and eyes and then, let it stay for a minute or so, massage my skin and then, I wipe off the oil with a cotton pad. It dissolves all the makeup, be it waterproof or not, and gets rid of everything perfectly well. It cleanses all the dirt and impurities as well. It provides a squeaky clean feeling to my face. The cleansing oil does not leave any sticky cast behind. It is good for cleansing your face since it does not contain any mineral oil. But, I get a very weird feeling when the oil enters my eyes. I just cannot describe it, but it feels weird. Hence, I do not use it on an everyday basis. Overall, it works well as a makeup cleansing oil.
