Palmer’s Post Natal Firming Lotion Review

Hope everyone is keeping well. Pregnancy is so beautiful and I love every bit of it, but there is one thing about pregnancy that all women fear – STRETCH MARKS. Of course, you cannot completely stop them from zigzagging on your body, but surely prevent them to an extent of not showing up as much as they normally do. I do not say stretch marks are bad, because the baby starts leaving his/her mark on our bodies when we are about 13 to 21 weeks pregnant. You will mostly start to see these marks around your belly, thighs, bust area and hips. Even if you are not pregnant, and have lost some weight, these marks will show up.

Price:
It is priced around 600 INR, I’m really not sure about the price because I got it from my sister.

Claims:

The unique combination of Cocoa Butter, Collagen, Elastin and Shea Butter firms and tones while improving skin elasticity and texture. In addition, Ginseng and Vitamin E help nourish and rejuvenate tired skin. Co Enzyme Q10 is an antioxidant that stimulates sin cells to tone and smooth the skin.

My Take on Palmer’s Post Natal Firming Lotion:

To prevent stretch marks on my body I started using the post natal firming lotion from Palmer’s, of course it says postnatal, and I’m not even close to my delivery yet. But I still used it because it said it will firm out the skin and also work on stretch marks, which is a multi-purpose thing. Why should I wait until my skin is all lose and out of shape, I can work on it from the beginning so I do not end up cribbing later on!!

I like how it comes in a white bottle with a pump dispenser, the lotion smells of cocoa and makes me want to eat it. All the ingredients are mentioned at the back of the bottle, which is a good thing, you must know what you are putting on your skin, especially while you are pregnant! The lotion is cream in color and goes on the skin smoothly. So far, I haven’t experienced any issues with this lotion and the quantity is huge too, I have been using it for quite some time now, and I still have a lot of product to be used, so yay on that!

After using it religiously for over a month, I can say, I haven’t really noticed any stretch marks yet, now that I will turn 21 weeks, it’s amazing how the cream is working on my skin, the firming effects I’m sure I’ll see after my delivery. My sister used it while she was pregnant as well, and she has way less stretch marks in comparison to my cousins who never did anything to prevent them. I am pretty amazed with the results and I’m surely going to continue using it in the long term. Cocoa butter works great on stretch marks and Palmer’s has made me fall in love with it!! <3

• I haven’t really seen it in Indian stores as much, so availability
• I’m not sure of the firming effects as of now!

Yes, if you have just lost weight, just delivered or you’re pregnant, you can give it a go. I’m sure you’ll like it! 
