Palmer’s Shea Butter Formula with Vitamin E Concentrated Cream Review

Hi all lovely beauties,

How are you all? Tell me how many of you find it difficult to buy any beauty product for your mother? Well, I really have a tough time doing so. My mother’s skin is sensitive. So, I have to be very careful while choosing some skincare product for her. She is a lecturer in government school and she has to use chalk (yes, modern education techniques are still a day dream). This makes her hands really dry. She tried all the methods but nothing seems to work well so far. This time I thought of buying a really good hand cream for her. I have read many good reviews about Palmer’s products on IMBB. After searching many stores; I gifted my mom Palmer’s Shea Formula with Vitamin E. It is a concentrated cream for extra dry skin. It can be used on hands, elbows, knees and feet. Let’s see, if it turns out to be a magic potion for extra dry skin or not?

My  experience with Palmer’s Shea Butter Formula with Vitamin E Concentrated Cream:

My mother had tried various home remedies and heavy creams to soften her hands but nothing worked well. There are mild cracks on her fingertips which stay put whatever cream or oil she uses. I really had high expectations from Palmer’s Shea butter formula.

Palmer’s Shea butter comes in off- white and pale yellow colored tube packaging. It has a flip open cap which makes it easy to use. The tube is sturdy and easy to carry around. The product is white in colour and really thick in consistency. It is like body butter in tube. Only a pea sized amount is sufficient to moisturize your hands. It has a very mild Shea butter fragrance.

Though it is thick in texture but it gets absorbed easily on messaging. My mother was happy that it gets absorbed and doesn’t feel greasy. It felt like a soft layer over the hands. She is using it as a night time hand cream for almost a month now. She has finished one tube already due to use twice in a day. The results are really good. The texture of the skin has improved and it has softened the rough patches around the fingertips. The best part is it didn’t irritate my mother’s sensitive skin. There still is a mild roughness around the fingertips but it is getting better. This concentrated cream has worked well so far. Now it’s her HG cream for hands. I also use it occasionally at night but I think it is well suited for dry skin. I have kept my tube to use it in the winters. I don’t use it in day time as my palms become sweaty.

Will I repurchase or recommend Palmer’s Shea Butter Formula with Vitamin E Concentrated Cream?
I already have two packs of this in stock. But because of availability issue, I guess I have to go for another easily available variant of Palmer’s. If you get to try one of this, do grab it. It’s really effective as a hand cream. It is really good for aging skin especially in winters.
