Palmolive Ayurituel Energy Shower Gel Review
Hello Everyone,
With the receding winters, I have already shifted to shower gel from shower creams. Not that there is much difference, but I must say the Dove shower cream really worked for me. I have to slather lotions and body butters post shower, but not that I have to run to get it. Well, that’s a mini review for the shower cream that I used up this winter, but today, I will be reviewing a new launch from Palmolive which is Ayurituel Energy Shower Gel.
Product Description:
Rediscover your well being and inner harmony with Palmolive Ayurituel Energy. Inspired by the world of ancient Indian Ayurvedic traditions. Enriched with fragrance of ginger and Indian Sandalwood extract it helps clean and leaves your skin feeling nourished for a pleasurable experience.
Directions For Use:
Palmolive aroma shower gel can be used with a loofah or by hand. Directions for use with loofah: pour a little Palmolive Aroma Shower Gel on your wet loofah. Apply gently over wet skin. For best results use loofah to work up rich fragrant lather before rinsing off.
Packaging:
The shower gel comes in a unique shaped plastic bottle which has sticker on both sides with the required information and the naming. The white colored flip-cap tightly fits and hence there is no chance of spillage. The product comes out through a nozzle which is small enough to control the amount of product. Overall, a fuss-free packaging, no complaints.
Texture:
The gel is bit runny compared to other Palmolive shower gels that I have used earlier. You can refer to the swatch to see how it traveled all over my wrist in seconds. I had to struggle to keep it in place for the swatch. It is mild orange in color and lathers up decently on skin.
Price:
Rs./ 160/- for 250 ml.
My Experience with Palmolive Ayurituel Energy Shower Gel:
As part of my random shopping, I picked up this shower gel as I have this habit of picking up new launches; mostly to try and review. I initially picked this up for the smell. It has a mind blowing smell which distinctly reflects the “Indian-ness.” A perfect blend of ginger and sandalwood. I could also smell a bit of orange peel in the gel. I have always loved musky woody smell and this is definitely one among the best loved concoctions one can think of. The smell lingers for a while, but not something that will stay on like forever. You can smell it on and off which I quite like.
The runny texture ensures that it glides smoothly and lathers up well. After using it, I do rush to get the dose of moisture as it tends to dry up my skin. Nothing that will aggravate the “white skin” look but you cannot afford to miss moisturizing the body after using this shower gel. I believe that won’t be troublesome once the summers enter in full swing.
Pros of Palmolive Ayurituel Energy Shower Gel:
- Travel-friendly packaging.
- Smells wonderful (my preference).
- Small nozzle, easy to use.
- Lathers up well.
- No parabens.
- Easy on pocket.
Cons of Palmolive Ayurituel Energy Shower Gel:
- Contains SLS.
IMBB Rating:
4/5
Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Palmolive Ayurituel Energy Shower Gel?

I tried the ayuritual red one. I bought it coz of the fragrance.but sadly i was disappointed. I switched from dove u see, so after using this my body suddenly felt deprived of moisture. I had to use a moisturiser after this to get that itchy feeling of dryness. I guess I’ll be going back to dove.
I love this Shower Gel, I also have the HandWash too, the aroma is gorgeous !! I bought mine from ASDA but now they dont sell it !! What a shame they cant keep up with demand of such great products !!
