My Experience with Pantene Hair Fall Control Shampoo:

Before switching to Vichy Hair Fall Shampoo, I was a regular user of Pantene Hair Fall Control Shampoo. This shampoo works well in cleaning hair and keeping the scalp free of oil and dirt. I used to wash my hair every alternate day with Pantene for a regular period of 3 months, but it did not show any signs of controlling the hair fall. I would say it did neither in controlling or increasing my hair fall. It is a decent shampoo with does the cleansing job well.
Pantene Hair Fall Shampoo (3)

The shampoo is thick cream consistency white color product. It has refreshing smell and is pleasant and lingers in hair for entire day after wash. I have normal and fine hair; it did not weigh down my hair and also did not leave my hair dry and frizzy. It actually made my hair shining and soft with every use. I believe its biggest flaw is not able to work on hair fall problem being a “hair fall” shampoo. It is loaded with chemicals which is another drawback.

Pros of Pantene Hair Fall Control Shampoo:

• Inexpensive.
• Available in different variants of sizes
• Fragrance.
• Cleans hair well of dirt and impurities.
• Makes hair soft and shiny.

Cons of Pantene Hair Fall Control Shampoo:

• Does not work on the hair fall problem.
• Full of chemicals.

Would I Repurchase Pantene Hair Fall Control Shampoo?

No, it did not work on the hair fall problem so I wouldn’t buy it again.

  1. nice review 🙂 but sadly pantene never works for me… infact my hair volume decreased by 1/3rd when i used pantene in my first month at hostel 🙁 🙁 i never got k my original volume… :'(

  2. i had used this for two months, loved the smell, it was too good, for me also it did nothing to reduce hairfall, but it leaves my dry hair moisturized, soft and shiny 🙂 and imo, it left residue on my scalp 🙁
    Good review Visha 🙂
