Hello Ladies, I would like to review Pantene Pro-V Hair Fall Control Conditioner. I am a regular user of Loreal Absolut Repair conditioner. You can say that it is my signature conditioner. But it got exhausted a month back and is not available nearby. So I picked up Pantene Pro-V Hair Fall Control Conditioner from a local drug store. I have been using it for 3 weeks now and I would like to share the results with you all.

Product Details: A hair conditioner specially designed to control hair fall and hair breakage.

Product Claims: Nourishes the hair from the root to tip to fortify it and prevent breakage that results from dehydration. Use every day for your daily reinforcement.

What does Pro-V formula signify?

● Strengthens the inside of hair at the structural level
● Penetrates and helps fill hollow parts of hair
● Lasting strength for reduced hair fall due to breakage
● Rich conditioning formula for enhanced nourishment and protection
● No Dye, No Paraben.

Packaging: It comes in a white coloured, light weight plastic bottle with a golden cap.

Price – Rs 59

Quantity – 75 ml

Fragrance: A pleasant smell, similar to most of the pantene shampoos. Nothing irregular.

Consistency: Thick and creamy, white in colour.

Ingredients: Water, Bis-Aminopropyl Dimethicone, Stearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, Fragrance, Benzyl Alcohol, Dicetyldimonium Chloride, Disodium EDTA, Panthenol, Panthenyl Ethyl Ether, Linalool, Butyphenyl Methypropional ,Hexyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Benzonate, Benzyl Salicylate, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone.

Applications for Use –

• Drain off water from your hair
• Gently squeeze your hair to drain off excessive water. This step is vital to prevent dilution of the conditioner.
• Push the pump twice, spread the conditioner over your palms and soak it into your hair, especially the tips.
• Spread conditioner by combing through your hair with your fingers.
• Run your hands through your hair to evenly spread the conditioner.
• Rinse adequately
• Rinse your hair until you feel its smoothness.
• Apply the conditioner twice if you have damage prone hair tips

My hair Type– I have rebonded hair, and suffer from moderate hair- fall. It is a bit frizzy and dry as well.

My Experience with Pantene Pro-V Hair Fall Control Conditioner:

The best part about Pantene Hair Fall Control Conditioner is that it is available in various sizes. I picked up the smallest size which was just for Rs. 59. This way it is easier for more people to try the product. The product has a good consistency and has a very pleasant smell that lingers on for a few hours. The conditioner did result in smooth and soft hair. But it did not really help me with my hair-fall issue.

• Does not really help with hair fall.
• Full of chemicals.
• Contains Dimethicone.

Product Rating: 4/5 ( Point deducted because it does not help with hair fall)

Would I recommend it?

Yes, it is affordable and convenient to carry around while travelling. But if you are looking for a hair fall control product , then No.
