I am back with another shampoo review from Pantene. I am in love with Pantene these days, after having a good experience with Pantene Daily Moisture Shampoo. This one claims to make hair long and black, let us see if this one really does what it claims to.

My Experience with Pantene Pro-V Long Black Shampoo:

I remember watching ads of Sunsilk long and black shampoo, and I used to get really intrigued by them and always desired to have long and black shampoo. But I never got a chance to use it and one day when I saw that Pantene also has one such variant, I instantly grabbed it.  This one too comes in a typical Pantene long and sleek bottle but with a black flip top cap.

The shampoo has thick creamy consistency and sometimes I tend to waste a lot of amount because of this texture. It smells nice and the fragrance is bearable. It lathers well but causes build-up due to the -cones  present in it. I have been using it for the past one and a half months, but I did not see any change in the color of my hair and neither my hair looked shinier. The texture of my hair is still same as it was before, no significant change.  Obviously, it will not do anything to make my hair longer in mere 35 days, but otherwise, it is a nice shampoo, it cleanses well and leaves my scalp clean. Also, it does not cause any kind of dryness.

Overall, it is a basic shampoo with nice cleansing properties, which does not cause any major hairfall.

Cons of Pantene Pro-V Long Black Shampoo:

• Does not add any shine.
• No significant change in the color and texture of hair.
• Contains a lot of chemicals.
• Causes build-up.
