I got Pantene Pro-V Volume Up! Hairspray since my hair is very thin and was in dire need of volume. I had never tried any hairspray and Pantene hairspray seemed like a good bet for a beginner. My Experience with Pantene Pro-V Volume Up! Hairspray:
The Pantene Pro-V Hairspray comes in a long cylindrical can which holds 11 Oz of the product. The bottle is very hefty and is not travel-friendly. It has a press button to release the spray. It is a maximum hold spray hence it is very sticky and holds the hair tightly together. The hairspray has a liquid texture and sprays evenly on the hair. The hairspray has a strong scent. The scent is similar to Pantene shampoos.
The best way to use this hairspray is to backcomb your hair and hold the spray far from your head and spray it. The moment I spray it my hair starts to gain volume and becomes very thick and sticks together. This spray does give a good volume. I normally straighten my hair and then use the spray to get the puff on top of my head or for getting the extra oomph by adding spray to my straightened hair. My hairstyle stays the entire day and the product does a good job of holding my puff in place.
I don’t get any flyaways. At the end of the day, if you comb your hair, a few extra strands are bound to fall because of the strong hold. I also have to wash my hair to remove the residue of the spray. Hence this hairspray is not for daily use. You can use it for special occasions when you want your hairstyle to be on fleek. Overall, I do like this product since it does fulfil its claim.
