Parachute Advansed Deep Nourish Body Lotion (Extra Dry Skin)-Review

Hello everyone on IMBB,

I’ve been reading IMBB for almost a year and hence I thought I must review something, so here I go with my first review.

Due to my habit of trying new body lotions every winter, this time the nominee was Parachute, although TBS Shea whip lotion has been my all time favorite. This year I couldn’t get access to my TBS Shea Whip lotion, so here’s my first trial of Parachute Advansed Body Lotion, for extra dry skin since my skin becomes extremely dry even during winters.

As in the case of other Parachute body lotion variants (summer and dry skin) this one too is shaped like an hourglass, it makes it very easy to hold.

Price:

Rs. 59/- for 100 ml

Key Ingredients:

Cocos Nucifera oil, Coconut Milk, Hydrogenated vegetable oil, Propyl paraben, fragrance, carbomer, titanium dioxide, phenoxyethanol, BHT, Disodium EDTA etc.
What the product claims:

100% natural moisturizers that nourish from deep within. For best results, apply daily all over your body. Suitable for use by entire family.

My experience with Parachute Advansed Deep Nourish Body Lotion:

Texture:

When I tried it on my hands, I could see the texture was extremely moist and oily. Personally, before using this lotion, I didn’t prefer sticky body lotions.

Fragrance:

Due to the presence of coconut oil and coconut milk, it has a coconut-ty fragrance. If you don’t like coconut smell, it can be troublesome for you since this fragrance lingers for hours.

Effects:

On application, it left my skin kind of oily, leaving my hands oily and moisturized for quite sometime. It gets absorbed after 7-10 minutes. You need to rub it for quite some time to be absorbed.

Amount required:

Very less amount is required since it is greasy.

Staying power:

It keeps skin moisturised for a day. It will be very good for people with extremely dry skin as you don’t need to re-apply it twice a day. This is the reason I quite like it!

Overall:

The only problem associated with this one is its oiliness, but I think I’ve to sacrifice it against its long hours of moisture it provides.

Pros of Parachute Advansed Deep Nourish Body Lotion:

• It moisturizes for a whole day. Even its competitors like Ponds or Vaseline total moisture don’t stay as long.
• Texture can suit people with extremely dry skin, especially for the coming winters.
• Value for money. I would spend Rs.59 any day for such a lotion.

Cons of Parachute Advansed Deep Nourish Body Lotion:

• The oily texture remains on skin for quite some time and makes us feel like we’ve applied petroleum jelly.
• It takes a lot of time to get absorbed compared to other lotions.
• Fragrance, the fragrance of coconut milk may not be liked by all.
Would I repurchase it?

Definitely yes, for the price, it’s worth a try.

IMBB Rating:

4/5
