Parachute

My Take on Parachute Advansed Cooling Oil:

Due to a hectic lifestyle, being a software engineer, keeping my mind at peace is by far the most difficult task for me. I am out of the home for almost 12-13 hours a day except on the weekends. Sometimes, I feel insomniac due to all the things revolving around me even if I am tired like hell. Due to the constant lack of sleep and overtiring work schedules, I was losing my ability to perform and was feeling blue. 😐

One day, my grandmother suggested to me that I should go for some oil which contains mint, i.e., menthol. Here, this oil came into the picture. There are many more cooling oils available in the market, but the trust which I had in the brand “Parachute” made me buy this almost instantly.  I have been using Parachute Coconut Oil for ages for my hair as well as for my skin at times and the product description was a plus point. Initially, I bought the smallest available pack because I was a bit skeptical about using cooling oil.

When I went through the ingredient list, I was pretty satisfied and thought positively that it would definitely do no harm to my otherwise decent hair.

I applied it just before bedtime to check the results. I took normal amount of oil and massaged onto my scalp very gently. The smell was initially strong, but I got used to that within seconds, nothing over the top. The oil heavily smells of camphor. I also felt that there was some sweet floral smell along with it that I could not describe.

When you apply the oil on your scalp, it gives a cooling sensation and you can judge that the product is really working. For me, it actually worked. Due to the cooling sensation and the smell of the oil, I was relieved to a great extent and could get a sound sleep. Now, whenever I have utterly tiring days, I use this oil and I am done. No stress, just sound sleep 🙂

Pros of Parachute Advansed Cooling Oil:

  • Smells all of camphor/menthol along with herbs and flowers.
  • Actually does what it claims.
  • Very decently priced.

Cons of Parachute Advansed Cooling Oil:

  • Smell can be a turn off for some.
  • Rest, I could not find any negatives of the product.

Final Verdict:

I trust this oil and swear upon using this life long.

  1. i always get severe headache, when ever i apply oil.. is it curing headache as mentioned in the bottle.. Or let me try the smaller bottle at first :))

I totally agree with this point “being a software engineer, keeping my mind at peace is by far the most difficult task for me. I am out of the home for almost 12-13 hours a day except on the weekends. Sometimes, I feel insomniac…” :high5: me too feel the same. when i wake up on saturday, i always feel my head is sooo heavy….
Thanks for your review pallavi 🙂

    1. Yes, its all due to the Stress of our job, after 6 yrs of working in IT, i got Migraine as a gift.. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

  3. Nice review Pallavi..  My husband swears by Navaratna oil.. Never knew parachute has this product.. Glad that it works for u..

    1. But i hate Navaratna smell.. the whole house smells if one person has applied   .. other than that its a good oil :))

      1. hahahha..most reviews do that :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: ..but yours was luckily a relatively cheaper one.. :happydance: :happydance: :happydance:

  4. i checked their site. it says that it is available across all cities of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. :headbang: :headbang: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa:
any idea from where i can order it :chewnails: :chewnails:

    1. I think availability should not be a problem area wise… You can check it at local grocery stores or supermarkets… 🙂

  5. I too will buy this now i have smell or navratna oil tht claims similar effects hope this smeels better then that…Thnks for sharing.

  6. I bought this after your review   and thanks for introducing this product, its really good for headache, though it smells similar to navaratna oil, imo much less stronger than navaratna…

Note for Jomol: try this  buy a smaller bottle 50ml for 26 rupees, this oil is apt for ppl with headache :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

  7. To my surprise.. this advance formula has helped in reducing my hair fall..!!!!! though i had opted it for cooling effect during headache, it gives heaven relaxation even after washing hair coolness can be felt, along with that i observed my hair fall came down to zeroooooo!!!!
May be it suit only my scalp 😛 but one can try for their hair fall problem and observe how it works..

My 10 out of 10 rating to it !!!!! 🙂
