Patanjali Amla Hair Oil Review

By Alisha K.

Hi Beauties,

I am here with an amazing Indian brand product from Patanjali – amla hair oil.  It is basically an ayurvedic oil and we all know ayurvedic products are very pure, natural and effective without any kind of toxins in them to harm any part of the body. Ayurvedic products do take more time to show results, but they are beneficial in the long run.

Patanjali Amla Hair Oil

This oil is a mixture of three oils and amla itself.

It comes in a small plastic, transparent bottle with a cap that flips open and has a small hole.  The oil is green in color.

My Experience with Patanjali Amla Hair Oil:

From a very young age, I love my hair.  I always wanted to have long, voluminous, thick, black shiny hair. Earlier, I was using coconut oil, but was not getting the desired result.  My hair had become brittle and thin because of excessive exposure to sunlight, dust and pollution.  Then, I came across this product from Patanjali about 5-6 months ago, and believe me, this oil is a miracle oil.

Apart from stopping further hair damage, preventing split ends, it has made my hair glossy and voluminous.  This oil has also added shine to my hair.  I normally do hot amla oil massage for 15-20 minutes and then keep it for 1 hour, and then rinse it off with a shampoo.

I have also tried whole body massage with this oil and I can assure you that after you do massage with this oil, you will feel very relaxed.

Patanjali Amla Hair Oil Review Overall rating: 4 out of 5 based on 3 reviews.

Strong scent

3 5 1
Used it once. While it felt great on hair and after wash made my hair smooth the strong strong scent gave me a headache. Need to check it out once more or mix it with another oil to lessen the effects of the scent as I am very sensitive to smells

Superb benefit

I tried a lot of home made treatment but my hair loss was not in control. Then I consulted a doctor, for few days it was good but again a huge amount of hair fall started . Suddenly I used this oil , you won't believe , the hair fall stopped 90%... I never give any review about any product but this product really superb.

  1. Nice review, Alisha! 🙂 Sounds like a must-try product. I remember my husband and his brother used to use a similar patanjali oil, which had a terrible smell, but was too good for hair growth! 🙂

    1. Hi…padmashree…thanks…and this oil doesnt smell its just that it has a very strong fragrance..specially in summers every oil seem sticky..but ya this product is nice…

  2. Moreover Ayurvedic products are in pure form…so they have a very strong essence in them but are beneficial in long run….
