Patanjali Body Ubtan Review

Hope you all are doing well! Today is the last day of the month, thought of sharing with you all my experience with a very natural scrub from Patanjali known as Body Ubtan. The word Ubtan brings back a lot of pleasant memories from my childhood. On the festival of Holi, my mom would prepare this homemade Ubtan with a lot of ingredients from her kitchen and we all would sit in the balcony to remove our colors with the help of that paste. It used to be so much of fun!

I liked the packaging as it is quite easy and convenient to carry in a small pouch of your bag.

My Experience with Patanjali Body Ubtan:

Since the Ubtan comes in powder form, there is no issue of hygiene as it can easily be taken out with the help of a dry spoon (I personally am not a fan of paste form since it becomes a little messy). Another benefit of the powdery texture is that wastage is less; you can mix as much product that is required in batches. There is no issue of the paste drying out in the packet also.

As soon as I opened the pack, I was impressed with the fragrance. You can smell that turmeric and camphor so distinctly! The scent gives a feeling of freshness. I have not tried making the paste with rose water as directed; I mixed some cold water instead as rose water was not handy. The paste needs to be made a little thick and moist in order for it to stick to the skin, otherwise it becomes very dry and keeps falling off while application. For dry skin, you can even mix it with some milk or curd and apply.

Directions mention that you need to apply and massage, however I keep it on my skin for 5 to 7 minutes and then start rubbing. Best time to use this Ubtan is while taking a bath. It gives an instant glow and clean skin after application leaving the skin soft. Mine skin type is oily, so it did remove that excess oil from my face for almost a day. You can use it 2 to 3 times a week as all the ingredients in it are natural and would not harm your skin. I found this Ubtan very effective and useful as it takes away the hassle of looking out for so many natural ingredients and mixing them up to make an ubtan at home. Also, when you are in a hurry and do not have time to go to the parlor before attending a special event or party, this will come as your savior at home!

 Pros of Patanjali Body Ubtan:

• Travel-friendly packaging
• Natural Ingredients
• Powder form
• Refreshing fragrance
• Does not dry out my skin
• Gives an instant Glow
• Removes excess Oil
• Leaves the skin soft and smooth
• Easily available
• Pocket-friendly

Cons of Patanjali Body Ubtan:

• I can’t think of any con at the moment except that it gets a little messy in application as it keeps falling.

IMBB Rating:
4.9 Out of 5

Final Verdict:
This is a really great natural product and I am really happy with it. I would recommend you all to try it out for yourself. I am definitely going to buy this again.
