My Take on Patanjali Honey Orange Face Wash:

I have already used the “orange-aloe vera” face wash and “aloe vera-mint” face wash by Patanjali. This is my third cleanser from their range. The two main ingredients of this face wash are honey and orange. We all know the amazing beauty benefits of honey – makes skin soft, supple and radiant; is a natural antiseptic, thus having healing properties; good for damaged hair; natural sweetener. Just named a few! Naming a few benefits of oranges – help in oil absorption and fighting acne; makes the skin feel refreshed and radiant; have anti-ageing properties. To top it all, I love citrusy face washes! An important and amazing thing about this product – no SLS / SLES!

Packaging:  The packaging is decent and pretty sturdy. The size is really nice and compact, making it quite travel friendly. It is a standard flip-open white colored tube, with a design of oranges and honeycombs on it. The ingredients, description of the product and other details have been mentioned on the back of the tube.

Consistency/Smell:  The face wash is a light orange-colored gel. The consistency seems perfect – neither runny nor too thick. It lathers quite well and I don’t require a very huge amount of gel to work up a rich lather. The smell is AWESOME! Freshly squeezed orange juice mixed with some herbs! I found the fragrance a bit strong in the tube, but after cleansing, it felt just right. It lingers on for quite some time. It is the first thing I use on my face in the morning, and it not only wakes up my skin, but makes me feel totally refreshed too!

Performance:  I love this! Many face washes claim to give a glow to the skin and fight acne. But not many have really stood true to all the claims. However, this one actually does. Facial skin feels squeaky clean.  It makes skin smooth and soft, without making it over dry or stretchy. After using this for a few days, I noticed that my skin was actually a bit radiant. I won’t say that the glow lasts the whole day or skin constantly looks radiant, but the condition of my skin has definitely improved. Skin also feels a bit firm and tighter. I had two teeny weeny bumps on my forehead. Though small, they were painful. After I started using this product, the zits dried up a bit and their size reduced further. Automatically, the pain reduced as well. My skin has become a bit clearer too. The only sad part is that it does not do much to control oil secretion or appearance of oil on the face. As with the aloe vera-mint face wash, this one also cleanses oil and stickiness, but does not control it even with regular use.
