Patanjali Kesh Kanti Oil Review

I hope you are doing great. I have been busy with college and college stuff, which explains the lack of reviews. I have been an avid follower of Ayurveda, and wherever I see herbal products and such I never hesitate in getting them. Today’s review is from our very humble Indian Patanjali. Most Patanjali products have worked for me, let’s see how this one fared.

My Experience with Patanjali Kesh Kanti Oil:

Packaging: The actual bottle comes housed in a cardboard box. It has the name of the product written on it in Hindi as well as English, which I found it very good. I like the shape of the bottle, and it comes with a convenient flip cap that clicks shut and is sturdy enough. I do not call it very travel-friendly since I am skeptical about carrying around oils in my bags for the fear of leaking.

Texture: The texture is like any other oil, slightly on the thicker side. I particularly avoid oils that are thin, maybe because I have a notion that it may contain mineral oil. Most hair oils from leading brands contain mineral oil, while some mention some don’t. I have got used to that assumption 😀 . I do not mind the slightly thick texture.

Fragrance: It has a soothing fragrance, which smells like camphor and amla. I find it relaxing. The aroma is very herbal-y and not at all overpowering that will bother the nose.

Performance: I apply this oil before sleeping and sometimes two hours before hair wash. I noticed it gave better results when applied a night before. It controls hair fall to an extent, though I do not have any major hair loss issues. I have extremely dry and frizzy hair, and this oil did not do much for it. It also controlled my dandruff to an extent, which was very beneficial indeed. My scalp felt nourished and moisturized after washing my hair. The best part about this oil is such a beautiful array of herbal ingredients with the base as coconut oil and sesame oil. I had a good night’s sleep without any stress and tension. I am amazed that it worked that way too. I cannot ask anything more from such a wonderful hair oil at such a decent price.

  1. There used to be a patanjali kesh kanti hair oil before as well! Have they just changed the packaging or is it the whole new product Disha?
