Patanjali Tulsi and Neem Face Wash Review

Patanjali Tulsi and Neem Face Wash

By Shalini Singh

Dear friends,

I am here with a new product which contains 3 age-old magical herbs called Neem Tulsi and Aloe Vera. To be honest, I was actually at Patanjali store to try their aloe vera gel and face wash but as it was out of stock so I thought why not try some other face wash from their range. Who doesn’t get charmed by the therapeutic properties of neem tulsi and aloe vera. I have been using it for around 2 weeks now and here is my experience which I am going to share with all the beautiful ladies in the house.

Product information

Patanjali Neem and Tulsi face wash
Key Ingredients: Aloe Vera, Neem, Tulsi
Usage: Apply gently on wet face and massage gently for one minute
Best before: 18 months
Skin type: For normal to oily skin

I got it from the Patanjali store which is just 10 minutes away from my house though it is also available at many temple outlets these days.
Cost: INR 45 inr for 60 Gms

Patanjali claims: Neem Tulsi face wash is a soap free herbal formulation. Its gentle cleansing action controls moisture and natural balance of skin. Neem and Tulsi kills germs while honey (wow it has honey too) and aloe moisturize and rejuvenate the skin tissues to make complexion fresh smooth and beautiful. It also helps to prevent pimples.

My experience with Patanjali Tulsi and Neem Face Wash

It comes in a tube with flip-open cap. I won’t say this is a very attractive packaging but with this price I  don’t mind it. The consistency of this product is just like any other gel-based face wash in a pleasant green color, like most neem based products. I use it every morning the moment I am up and it makes me feel fresh and light right away with its mild fragrance and smooth lather formation which washes away all the oil and left over night cream if any that I use before going to bed.

I don’t really have pimples or break outs but yes I do have a combination skin with rare appearance of pimples on chin in this sweaty summer season with rains coming and I would say it did help in prevention if not curing the same ( though it claims to only prevent pimple not cure them). The best part about the face wash is its extremely smooth lather formation and no left over residue once you wash your face with it.

It doesn’t dry your skin like most medicated face washes and coming from Patanjali that’s a Baba Ramdev brand; it definitely doesn’t consist of chemicals. It smells little soapy but not too strong in fact mild and something that won’t put you off so 🙂 nothing very artificial. I require a very very small quantity of this product for cleaning my face properly with good amount of lather formation. It will easily last you for around 8 to 10 weeks if used once a day 🙂 only.

Pros of Patanjali Tulsi and Neem Face Wash:

Not costly
Tube packing which is hygienic n sturdy
Travel friendly
Ayurvedic
No animal testing
Goodness of Neem and Tulsi (which I absolutely love)

Cons of Patanjali Tulsi and Neem Face Wash:

Package design could be better (sorry buy I did not like how the print and tube looks) it can be prettier 🙂
