My experience with Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Moisture Mist:

I have been searching for a good product to tame the frizz of my hair but I was not satisfied with the results of serums as they make my hair look chipku irrespective of the miniature amount I use. I have naturally wavy hair that tends to be frizzy on some days and on some it is so well behaved that even I am surprised *hihi* On my last visit to the hairdresser he convinced me to buy a Matrix serum for easing out the frizz and I bought that on his recommendation, but as soon as I used it I had a strong urge to go and wash my hair again *cry* it felt so sticky thought I had used 1-2 drops. I tried to use it a couple more times and it failed horribly. Since then it has been lying around as I have no idea how to make use of that serum.
I gathered courage and started looking out for something that would work for my moody hair, while searching on the net I came to know about this from a lot of people suggesting this as a miracle product. I did some research online and found that a few online shopping sites are selling it and ordered right away. The package arrived nicely bubble wrapped in cardboard box without a scratch or damage. I have been using this mist everyday on my hair and sparingly on my skin…I have found it to be really good for the hairs as it eliminates frizz and livens up the hair in between my shampoo breaks. The mist is a clear liquid with a very nice and mild smell. The best thing is that it doesn’t weigh down my hair and makes it better prepared for styling. I have not used it extensively on my facial skin but it does have a very soothing and cooling effect…honestly I have never in my life used a hair product on my face *rofl* I mean it’s not strictly a hair mist it is meant for use on the skin too and people are happily using it…but you can say it’s a sort of OCD I can’t bring myself to use it on my face. I have been using it for more than a month now and can confidently say that finally I have found a frizz taming product that does not glue my hair, I am very happy with this…and they don’t do animal testing which makes it even better. *happydance*

    1. do try it Jomol if you find…awapuhi is some sort of ginger or ginger like herb found in hawaii..thats what the internet search says *hihi* *haan ji* it has some slimy substance that is great for hairs and skin *happy dance* *happydance*

  2. This looks good Parmita, but mostly all hair sprays weigh down my hair do I avoid them *haan ji* , I have used one of their hair serums long back it was quite good, great review 🙂

    1. *thankyou* dhara this is not exactly a hair-spray but more like a leave in conditioner in a spray bottle *pigtail* do try it and it doesn’t weigh the hair down..as I have pretty thin and limp hairs *haan ji*

    1. *happy dance* bullseye *haan ji* all of the products that I have used from PM till now have been great …but they do come at a price *shock*

  3. Nice review. 🙂 And I use the Matrix serum, works quite well for my very dry hair. If you don’t want to give it a try again then i would suggest you apply the serum after shampooing and then let your hair dry. Works best that way. 🙂
