IMBB Sponsored Product Review

Hello Everyone,

Let’s start off today taking a bow to the superb idea by team IMBB in listing out stuff for the extended family to select and review. I believe that is what makes IMBB a special place to be. No wonder why I am saying all this today, I will be reviewing the product I picked up from the list i.e. Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm. Read on to know how it fared for me:

Product Description:

Relax wavy, curly or unruly hair with this lightweight balm that helps smooth every strand, seal the cuticle and lock out frizz. Helps protect hair from heat and speeds up dry time, so styling is a cinch. Enjoy silky smooth results without a heavy product feel, rain or shine.

Directions For Use:

Rub 2 to 4 pumps into hands and apply evenly to damp hair. Style as desired.

Packaging:

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm comes in a pump bottle packaging. The body is made of white plastic with a bright lime green pump dispenser. All details about the product are imprinted on the body in various languages. The smart thing about the packaging is that the pump can be locked with 1/4th of a twist and you can carry it safely with you without the problem of spilling.

My Experience with Paul Mitchell Smoothing Super Skinny Relaxing Balm:

Paul Mitchell Smoothing Super Skinny Relaxing Balm 4

Firstly, I feel so privileged to be a part of this awesome thing going on in IMBB. I missed the first 2 bidding, but this month, I made sure I do not miss out on the lovely opportunity. I have been using this product for a while and thought I have tried and tested it enough to review this. For my shoulder length hair, I need two pumps. Regarding my hair type, I have normal hair with lots of frizz in the back, just where the ponytail starts. I have tried the balm both on wet and dry hair and for me; it works better on dry hair. The results are really visible when I apply on dry hair. The frizz is gone immediately and there is a visible shine in my hair.  I have avoided applying the balm on scalp; I mostly start from the bottom and work my way up, till the mid-length.

The texture of the balm is not exactly thick; it is more like a runny conditioner, which is translucent white in color.  Also, on application, it does not leave behind any residue on the palm or the hair. Some products tend to create some build-up, but I have not yet noticed anything of that sort. There is a strong fruity smell to it which stays on for a while, but disappears in some time. The hair looks and feels healthy till the next wash. This has come as a boon to me as I prefer keeping my hair open in winters, but the frizz always left me two-minded. Now that I have this, I am going to have stylish hair this winter.

I have tried and tested endless number of products for my frizzy hair, but none have worked wonders, but with this I am a satisfied soul. This is my holy grail product and I am saving it for special occasions.
