Peach Pink Purple Party Dress Inspired Eye Makeup Tutorial

Peach Pink Purple Party Dress Inspired Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hello ladies!

Peach+Pink+Purple+Party+Dress+Inspired+Eye+Makeup+Tutorial

This past week, for the wedding of my dear, sweet, darling neighbor (who was such a beautiful bride), I wore the following dress. (This image with the dress is an older image and my makeup is different in this one, it just was the best image that showed the full dress). This is one of my absolute favourite dresses and I wanted to go for an eye look that had the various colors of this dress.  So, this is what I came up with and wanted to share the look with you all. It looks very dramatic, but has very few steps to it.

Step 1:

I first started out with applying concealer all over and around my eyes.

Step 2:

I took the peach color and applied on the inner part of my eyelid.

Step 3:

Then, I applied pink on the outer corner and blended the two colors.

Step 4:

Taking the purple, I created an very sharp cat eye-ish outer “V” from where the pink ended.

Step 5:

I blended the purple out, but not a lot, I wanted a distinct purple V visible and that is pretty much done with eye colors.

Step 6:

For liner, I applied a usual winged eye liner, and then extended the kajal out but instead of joining it to the wing on the upper lid I extended it so as to create a triangular space between the two “wings.”

05

On the lower lash line, after applying the kajal/liner, I applied the same pattern of colors as above – peach on the inner 1/3rd, pink in the middle and purple on the outer 1/3rd. I used the NYX felt liner to neaten the lines and make the points sharper in both the inner and outer corner. I finished with the gold on the brow bone as a highlight.

06

For the rest of my face – I kept my blush light pink, (shade no. 5 from this review of Coastal Scents 10 Blush Palette) and used a soft pink lipstick on the middle part of my lips and a darker pink on the corners and that is my completed look for the party.

I hope you all liked it and until next time, happy Makeuping!
