Pears Fresh Renewal Face Wash Review

Today, I will be reviewing my recent favorite face wash- Pears Fresh Renewal face wash. It is my first face wash from Pears and I am really liking it. I have been using Fabindia Tea tree face wash since more than a year and I was bored of it now. I am glad I have found a suitable replacement for it.

My experience with this product:

Pears Fresh Renewal face wash comes in a half transparent and half blue colored, inverted bottle with a flip flop cap. I like flip flop caps more than screw caps because they are easy to open with wet hands. The size of the bottle is appropriate and the bottle is light weighed, so it can be carried easily in handbag. It is definitely spill proof. The face wash is in gel form and is of very light blue color. It has very tiny blue beads in it for exfoliation purposes. The gel isn’t runny at all.

I use this face wash twice daily and I am very satisfied with it. Only a small amount of gel is required. This face wash lathers very well and doesn’t require lot of water to remove it. It gives a cooling and refreshing sensation when it is applied on skin. The beads in it provide mild exfoliation. It removes all dirt and grime from face in a single wash. It removes oil from face completely. It removes light make up like sheer foundations, compact and blush but heavy foundations and lipsticks require some cleansing in addition. It doesn’t dry out my skin and controls oil secretion almost entire day. It hasn’t broken me out. It doesn’t lighten scars and all but definitely provides a soft glow to skin.

I have combination skin and haven’t felt any dryness or stretchy feel after using it but I am not sure it will be the same case with dry skinned ladies. I haven’t experienced any allergy or weird sensation on my face after using it. It doesn’t have any weird fragrance. In whole, this is a wonderful face wash for combination skinned and oily skinned girls.

  •  Lathers very well.
  •  Gives a cooling and refreshing sensation to my face.
  •  Beads provide very mild exfoliation.
  •  Removes all dirt and grime from face in a single swipe.
  •  Removes all oil from face.
  •  Controls oil secretion.
  •  Removes light makeup.
  •  Doesn’t dry out my oily skin.
  •  Haven’t experienced any allergy.

  • The exfoliation provided in it is not enough.
  •  Might not work this good for dry skinned beauties.

Imbb rating:

Will I repurchase/ do I recommend?

  1. Good review 🙂 I love Pears face washes!! I love green one and classic orange-ish one. They are perfect for my oily, acne prone, sensitive skin.
