My Experience with Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer:

I recently did a haul from the Perricone MD line of which reviews will be coming your way soon and this was one of the items in that haul. During winters, my skin becomes crazy dry and patchy and I need all the moisture I can get, which compelled me to get this product.

Packaging:

It has a simple tub packaging. Not many people might like this because it also means more chances of the product being contaminated by dipping fingers.

Texture:

The texture is somewhat between a gel and cream. It has a very whipped consistency and looks heavenly. It spread out very easily and gives a very slight cooling feeling on application which disappears within seconds.

Even though it looks very light and airy, it packs a powerful punch of moisture. When I first got this which was in summers, I was actually slathering it all over my face overnight with my fingers which caused my face to break out horribly and made my face greasy and oily. But since winters are here I have started using this again and now I only use a tiny amount and rub it between my palm and pat it into my skin which allows my skin to absorbs as much it needs and nothing more. I found this trick to be effective and I haven’t felt greasy or oily since.

Within few days of using this, skin feels hydrated from the inside. All my dry patches go away and skin does feel supple in the morning. But every now and the,n my skin will break out if I use this excessively. So using sparingly is the key with this product for me.

Fragrance:

I do not like the smell. It smells very artificial florally chemical-type of scent which unfortunately does linger on skin. Unfortunately, this has been my experience with most Perricone products (read the review of Blue plasma on IMBB) and this disappoints me. I cannot support the claims of it fixing wrinkles and lines as I in my early 20s don’t really have them much.

Overall this is a good product. It is very very pricey but you only need a little. I will only recommend this for those with dry to very dry skin.

Pros of Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer:

• Very hydrating.
• Little goes a long way.
• Makes skin soft and supple.

Cons of Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer:

• Very expensive
• Using too much of this will break you out.
• I do not like the scent.
• Unhygienic tub packaging.
