Hello Everybody,
I am back with another Perrine product for you. It’s the Photo Plasma SPF 30 moisturizer.
About The Product:
What It Is: A unique oil-free broad spectrum SPF 30 moisturizer that delivers powerful anti-aging benefits while protecting against damaging sun rays.
What It Is Formulated To Do: Luxurious in texture, this oil-free moisturizer creates an invisible shield between the skin and the environment, guarding against natural aggressors like pollution, wind, extreme weather, and chemical irritants, and age-accelerating UVA and UVB damage. The non-tacky formula provides essential hydration to the skin for a soft and radiant finish.

My Experience with Perricone MD Photo Plasma SPF 30 Moisturizer:
I like this moisturizer. First of all, look at the gorgeous pink color! Most sunscreen moisturizers are usually white in color and may leave your face looking ashy or leave a white cast behind, but not this one. The beautiful pink hue can be attributed to the presence of Astaxanthin, which is component of red algae.
I love the texture of this cream. It is very smooth, lightweight and my skin drinks it up. It instantly makes my face look hydrated and also, when worn under makeup, I feel it works like a primer, as my pores look smaller. It makes my makeup glide smoothly and the SPF content is an added advantage.
It gives a dewy finish on the face, so if you are not a fan of the dewy look, you might not like this. But my problem with this product is that, whenever I have worn this under makeup,by the end of the day, it makes my face oily and greasy. So I don’t reach out for this cream, when I know I will be for long.
The packaging is also a con, as this tub packaging may get unhygienic. It has a light floral scent which is jus OK, but it is not my favorite either. I can live with it though.
So overall, I like this product. It is very expensive as all Perricone products are and it will work for normal to dry skin. I wouldn’t recommend it so much for oily skin, mostly because of its dewy finish.
Hope you found this review useful.
