My Experience with Peter Thomas Roth Blue Marine Algae Intense Hydrating Mask:
I have been loving Peter Thomas Roth skincare products for a while now, but this particular mask didn’t wow me. The blue marine mask has a gel-like texture with micro shimmer particles in it. The mask in the jar looks very beautiful and that might be one reason that I had purchased it.
It has a slight fresh coconut-y scent to it, which really feels refreshing. You are supposed to apply this mask for 10 minutes. Also, you can keep it overnight for intense hydration.
It feels very cooling on the skin when it’s on and feels very refreshing on hot summer days. Like all other Peter Thomas Roth masks, this also didn’t irritate my skin or cause any breakouts.
I prefer using this mask as an overnight leave-on mask since my skin needs intense hydration. In the morning, my skin feels hydrated, and plump, but the results are not that drastic to justify the price tag. I can get the same results by adding a good moisturizer in my night-time routine.
