Peter Thomas Roth Oilless Oil 100% Purified Squalane Review

People with dry skin will know how it feels when you apply face oils, and then wait for it to sink in and be left with “oily-looking” skin, but when I found out Peter Thomas Roth’s Oiless oil, I was very happy reading the claims and bought it right away.

Peter Thomas Roth Oilless Oil 100% Purified Squalane Review

Product Description:
Oilless Oil 100% Purified Squalane is for anyone looking for all the benefits of an oil without leaving an oily or greasy after-feel. It is lightweight, clear and odorless. Oilless Oil is derived from farmed, naturally-sourced, sustainable sugarcane (not from sharks or olives). Non-comedogenic, will not cause breakouts.

Sugarcane to Squalane transformation:
• Juice Evaporation – Raw sugarcane is pressed to extract juice. As the juice evaporates, it darkens and concentrates.
• Fermentation – During our exclusive fermentation process, sucrose transforms into three liquids: sugar, cellulose and ethanol.
• Separation – At this stage, a squalane precursor separates from the fermented matter.
• Purification & Bonding- Pure colorless squalane is sifted and rid of impurities. Liquid is bonded through our unique proprietary processing method.

Dry, acne-prone skin is the worst skin combination because you need to know how much moisturizer you have to apply so that your skin feels hydrated without leading to breakouts. And since oil is the best source for hydration, I wanted to try an oil-based product that would provide me ample hydration without making me look oily.

This oil is quite runny and instantly sinks into the skin and doesn’t leave any residue or tackiness which is generally what you get with other facial oils.
