People with dry skin will know how it feels when you apply face oils, and then wait for it to sink in and be left with “oily-looking” skin, but when I found out Peter Thomas Roth’s Oiless oil, I was very happy reading the claims and bought it right away.
Oilless Oil 100% Purified Squalane is for anyone looking for all the benefits of an oil without leaving an oily or greasy after-feel. It is lightweight, clear and odorless. Oilless Oil is derived from farmed, naturally-sourced, sustainable sugarcane (not from sharks or olives). Non-comedogenic, will not cause breakouts.
Sugarcane to Squalane transformation:
• Juice Evaporation – Raw sugarcane is pressed to extract juice. As the juice evaporates, it darkens and concentrates.
• Fermentation – During our exclusive fermentation process, sucrose transforms into three liquids: sugar, cellulose and ethanol.
• Separation – At this stage, a squalane precursor separates from the fermented matter.
• Purification & Bonding- Pure colorless squalane is sifted and rid of impurities. Liquid is bonded through our unique proprietary processing method.
My Experience with Peter Thomas Roth Oilless Oil 100% Purified Squalane:
Peter Thomas Roth Oiless Oil comes housed in a transparent glass bottle with a pump dispense mechanism. The name of the brand and product is printed on the front of the bottle and the rest of the details are printed at the back of the bottle.
Dry, acne-prone skin is the worst skin combination because you need to know how much moisturizer you have to apply so that your skin feels hydrated without leading to breakouts. And since oil is the best source for hydration, I wanted to try an oil-based product that would provide me ample hydration without making me look oily.
This is an oil that promises to be lightweight, hydrating, without clogging facial pores and wouldn’t breaking you out. The claims made me want to try it and I must say I am super impressed.
This oil is quite runny and instantly sinks into the skin and doesn’t leave any residue or tackiness which is generally what you get with other facial oils.
This oil is fragrance free, which is always a plus. When I apply this, it feels super hydrating and very lightweight on the skin. It also instantly brightens up the complexion making my skin glow from within.
With regular use, I feel my skin has become smooth and the pores have diminished making my skin feel a lot better than it used to be. It doesn’t break me out which makes it fit for sensitive skin. I seriously don’t want to be without it, I am so much in love with this product.
